Don't like our defence and defensive midfield today. We let them way too much space, we lack aggressiveness.

Re: Bundesliga Round 1
Borowski was really disappointing today, so I understand why Schaaf took him off. Hopefully, Jensen will do better. But more importantly, we really need to be more aggressive.

Re: Bundesliga Round 1
Hannover - Werder Bremen 2:4 final score.
The last 25-30 minutes were great, no doubt. Some beautiful goals, great attacking football. But we really lacked aggressiveness in the defence and defensive midfield today, Schaaf definitely has to fix that.
Diego was just brilliant today. A great goal, and two assists. Clearly MOTM.

Yes, Diego shining for us, earlier than expected tbh. Truly a great match for him today. He was great in the match against Bayern as well (Ligapokal).
You should be worried indeed.
HSV really need a class striker. For the sake of the Bundesliga, I hope that they somehow manage to beat Osasuna at home, and qualify for the Champions League. They need the Champions League money to afford a class striker.

Yes, that will definitely help, although Merte and Naldo will have to gel first. But I didn't like our defensive midfield today either. And Borowski clearly lacked match fitness today.
But no reason to be pessimistic, nothing Schaaf can't fix in the next weeks.
P.S.: Fahrenhorst's first match for Hannover and they conceded 4 goals. A great start for a defender.

"Ich habe allmählich keine Lust mehr gegen Werder zu spielen. Nach dem 2:1 schien es schon so, als ob wir gewinnen. Und dann bekommen die Bremer durch den Ausgleich plötzlich wieder Oberwasser", haderte 96-Keeper Robert Enke.

Re: Bundesliga Round 1
Diego was always class going forward, but Co didn't like him. He didn't fit into his tactical setup.
He never really did shine (that much) in Portugal, but only because he didn't get his full share of opportunities. His talent was never in question and he did put in good performances.
Good to see Almeida getting in on the action. Was his goal a header? (And yes, a fit and on form Almeida will def help Portugal)
Diego will be looking to get back into the Brazil squad...maybe he can do it at Bremen.

Re: Bundesliga Round 1
Yes, Almeida's goal was a header. A very important goal for us as well, as he equalised the 2:1 lead of Hannover just 3 minutes after he came on the pitch. He had another good chance (header again) right after.
Seriously, although I don't like labels, but Diego was world class today. An unbelievable match by him. Carlos Dunga watch out, this guy is going to be a true great if he continues like this.

Yeah, just read it on Spiegel.de. But I don't know what they want - last time they played that well against us they lost 5-0 in the end...so I guess, after all, he can be pretty happy today...
