Perhaps he will be good vs us, but I think Ashley Cole will have his number.

People going so crazy about Lennon after one season in the PL is silly.

EDIT: even if he scores a goal and gets 2 assists on Sunday I still won't want him at Chelsea.

The only reason we would want to buy him is too have more English players...this isn't a bad idea, but we have enough wingers already.

Obviously bullshit IMO, that would be a CRAZY deal. If Wright-Phillips isn't good enough for Chelsea then there is no way Lennon is. ok

Laughing Lennon is going to the top, i look forward to seeing how he does v chelsea this weekend, this talk comes up just before he is about to play against them strange
He can run fast and he has decent control, what else? Can he shoot? No. Can he take a free kick? No. Can he cross? No. There's potential there but to say he is "going to the top" is VERY premature.

If Wright-Phillips is a speed merchant then Lennon CERTAINLY is. ok

Lennon will become world class in a few years, but if he goes to Chelsea he'll end up like SWP

Lennon should stick at Spurs for two seasons IMO, then he can reassess his sutuation and maybe consider a move.

Doubt hes te type to pressure a move though.

SWP was seriously badly advised, his Dad didn't help much either!

    My dream -

    -------- Hargreaves ----- Carrick

    --- Lennon ------- Rooney ------ Ronaldo

    -------------------- Striker

Not for a couple of years yet as Giggs is still doing the business and he needs more time to develop.

Seriously hope he doesn't go to Chelsea.

Really? What about those goals against Arsenal and MU? Lennon tbh has been hyped up a bit, he has great pace and crossing ability but when i watch the matches hes a tad predictable, not saying SWP isnt, havent seen him play for time, but at City he use to go past players shoot/cross.

Yes, Lennon is overhyped on here but SWP has some serious deficits to his game.

For a start he has very poor dribbling and first touch, just immense pace. When he plays you expect only a third of what he does to come off.

Lennon is much more of a team player than SWP, has much better dribbling, technique and first touch - SWP has a much better shot than Lennon, this is the area of Lennons game that needs drastically improving, however he is four years younger than SWP and will bulk up and with that his shots wil improve

Pace is up both of their alleys and besides that both need improvments in various areas.

Yep swop Ronaldo with Cole and put Walcott upfront, and that is potentially frightening for the future.

Any player who gets posters saying "they're pretty damn good" then gets accused of being overhyped. True Story

Equally, those who accuse them of being overhyped are almost always fans of rival teams. Kimbo, being a Geordie, will never praise a Spurs player. True story

For a player who cant cross, his last game for England he set up Crouch's goal after being on the field for 30 seconds. He can improve, but anyone who thinks Lennon is purely a pace merchant is on a massive wind-up.

Hope he stays where he is for now. Think he's the type of player who could really excite abroad later in his career

Well he has no "technique" when it comes to actually doing something with the ball does he?! He has GOOD control and he's very quick... at the moment that's IT. Also pace and agility are pretty much the same thing.

And that hasn't told me why he's got more potential than N'Zogbia and Milner. scratch

That's the benefit of playing in a team in form. Last year N'Zogbia got 6 goals and 8 assists while playing for SOUNESS'S Newcastle, could Fletch have done that?! Could he fook. ok
