Not on the wind up, but I recieved this off a mate:
JOB VACANCY
Skilled manager wanted to step in for under-achieving Portugese blagger. Must be capable of achieving great things when presented with pretty much unlimited funds and should be able to match ability shown on cv with actual results. Carling Cup winners need not apply.

Missed out some key points though:
Must be unbeaten at home in all domestic cups for 3 years.
Must win back-to-back league titles.
Must make at least the semis in every competition.

Been confirmed today that those who died in the helicopter crash were indeed the vice president and his 17-year-old son.
Reminds me of the Matthew Harding incident, thought this has obviously got nowhere near the amount of publicity that got.

By GARY PAYNE
May 05, 2007
MIKEL JOHN OBI has taunted Manchester United by claiming: You don’t deserve the title.
The £16million Chelsea star, who snubbed a move to Old Trafford after a bitter row, insists the Blues have been the better side.
The Nigerian said: “We deserve to win the title because of our hard work, determination, the injury crisis and everything.
“I think United have been lucky at some points this season while we’ve had a long list of injuries to cope with. Overall, we’ve been the better team.
“On the strength of our performances we would be worthy champions, because we gave it our all.”
Chelsea, who are at Arsenal tomorrow, are five points adrift of United, who face local rivals City today.
But Mikel, 20, insists the title race is not yet over. He said: “We’ve played more games than any club in England and still we are showing our ability to win games under any circumstance.
“It’s only a few days to go but I am confident the title will remain at Stamford Bridge. We deserve it.”
United would need to lose at City for Chelsea to have a chance of staging an upset when the two sides clash at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
Mikel added: “There is a possibility they could slip up.
“Football is certainly an unpredictable game and anything could still happen.”
Mikel joined Chelsea after a huge transfer wrangle, with United getting £12m compensation after he initially signed for the Reds.
He added: “This is where I wanted to be and the manager is someone I adore.”

The way we battled away from home against one of the best sides in Europe, the enthusiasm, the desire was simply phenomenal. There is no other word to describe it.
Congratulations Manchester United. Over the season you've been the best team and thoroughly deserve it. But the biggest winners today imo, are the Chelsea players, who gave it their absolute all in their 61st game of the season. They couldn't have tried any harder, and yet you could see the disappointment on their faces. Congrats United, but I promise you, we'll be back and better next season
10/10 for every player on effort today, but performance wise:
Cech 7 - Solid.
Ferreira 6.5 - Surprisingly pretty good.
Terry 7 - Could have dealt with the incident which led to the penalty, but nonetheless solid.
Boulahrouz 2 - Please, get out of my club. 1 world class performance this season doesn't excuse you.
Bridge 6.5 - Again solid, should have posed more of an attacking threat.
Mikel 6 - Comfortable.
Essien 7.5 - Great goal, good in midfield and in defence.
Lampard 5.5 - Unlucky with his effort.
SWP 6 - Fantastic cross for goal, should have had Clichy on toast though.
Joe Cole 7 - Just hope that he is available for the whole season next season.
Kalou 6.5 - Needed to pose more of an attacking threat.
This one?

Re: Chelsea FC 2006/2007
Boulahrouz is the interesting one for me.
Sky got it right when they said that he is a man devoid of any confidence. It says something when Mourinho prefers to play Essien in place of Carvalho instead of the Dutchman. He simply hasn't got up to the pace of the English game in a year, that is not acceptable for any player at Chelsea.
Alex will be touted as the name to replace him I imagine.
Essien = Worth every penny of that £24 million.

Re: Chelsea FC 2006/2007
Player ratings for the season (2006-2007):
Goalkeepers:
Cech 8 - Presence was hugely missed during his 3.5 month absence. Has been instrumental since his return in keeping the chase alive as long as it was.
Cudicini 6 - Rarely played, but always looked comfortable.
Hilario 6.5 - Not quite as big a muppet as some were making out. Great against Barcelona (home), but then it went slightly downhill then. Conceded too many costly goals.
Defenders:
Ferreira 4 - Never really had what I'd call a solid game, but has looked slightly better in recent weeks. Shouldn't be 1st choice though.
Geremi 5 - Came in and RB and dealt with it well, although offered very little in attack.
Diarra 5 - See Geremi.
Boulahrouz 3 - One great performance (Barcelona home) doesn't make up for the rest of his performances, which quite frankly, have been awful.
Carvalho 9 - Instrumental during the periods when we needed him most. One awful game (Wigan away), but has done more than enough to compensate.
Terry 7.5 - Badly missed when we needed him most. Has barely put a foot wrong since his return, and providing we can keep him and Carvalho fit, we've got a good chance next season.
Essien (defender) 7 - Has looked fine at RB (8/10 for that), but has often looked shaky at CB (6/10). Thinks too much as a midfielder, which has caused him to make a few drastic mistakes as a CB.
A Cole 7 - Despite all the stick he's taken, he hasn't done too badly imo. Defensively he's been excellent, it's just going forward where he has struggled.
Bridge 7.5 - Some world class crossing from Wayne has brought him a lot of assists (and priceless Chelsea goals). Great goal against Wycombe (away), and was very versatile in the Christmas/January period, when the injuries started to mount up. Bit unfortunate not to have played more.
Midfielders:
Makelele 6 - Once the man who the team was more or less built around. Age has caught up with him though. A good start to the season, but has slowly faded away.
Mikel 8 - A lot of hype in the summer when we bought him, and pre-January, failed to convince me that he was the 'real deal' (5/10). Since the Liverpool game, he's improved in virtually every game I've seen him play (9.5/10)
Essien (midfielder) 9 - Some absolutely superb performances from Essien, who started to live up to his price tag. Shame he didn't play in midfield more.
Ballack 6.5 - Despite what some may say, he hasn't had a bad season. He has certainly lived up to the amount Chelsea paid for him (£0), and has scored some crucial goals. Watch out for him next season.
Lampard 7.5 - Pre-christmas, Lampard was absolutely vital to our team. Since then, he's slowly started to become more and more of a pain in the arse. Over-played, and I'd like to see him feature less and less next season (unless he's sold off to Barca of course )
Robben 6.5 - When fit, he's started in nearly every game, and has been absolutely crucial to us. Shame him and Joe Cole have never been fit at the same time. Too many injuries have also lowered his mark.
Joe Cole 6 - Has produced some crucial moments since his return from injury (most noticeable was the turn which led to Essien's goal v Valencia), but has unfortunately missed most of the season with injury. A season where we needed him perhaps more than ever.
Strikers:
Kalou 6.5 - Slow start, but he's getting there. Some crucial goals (e.g. Watford away). Gives the ball away too often imo, and needs to get stronger, but has proven that he's got the talent and an eye for goal.
Shevchenko 5 - Came with a lot of hype and his first couple of performances (Liverpool, Middlesborough) were terrific. 15 goals isn't bad for his first season at Chelsea, but only 4 have been in the Prem, and for a £30m player, that's not enough. I do think he'll shine next season however.
Drogba 9.5 - Absolutely crucial. Player of the season. So many important goals, so many terrific performances. The goals may have dried up in recent weeks for Didi, but he has still been instrumental this season. What did I say last season? "If Drogba added goals to his game, he'd be the best striker in the world!" I stand by this...
Manager:
Jose Mourinho 9 - Tactics may have cost us in 1 or 2 games, but he has been spot on the majority of the time. Has installed a 'never say die' attitude into the players, and to get us so far in 4 different competitions, with our 2 keepers and captain out for 3 months is terrific. Well done Jose.

Top 8 for next seasons Champions League (pre-final):
1. AC Milan 131.714
2. Barcelona 119.279
3. Liverpool 112.618
4. Inter 107.714
5. Arsenal 104.618
6. Real Madrid 104.279
7. Chelsea 99.618

However, next season will be the last of our bad points (5.52 points were received in season 02/03. After that, the lowest is 17.761 and the rest are all 22+, so as long as we have a good season in the CL next season, we should be in the top 3 for season 08/09)

You were in the UEFA Cup in 2002/2003 right? I think Newcastle Utd were in it that year.
I am surprised we are still that high up to be honest. We need a good year to remain there thats for sure.
What a consistant team AC Milan are.
