And as you've pointed out we are the ones paying (more like making a donation) to UNICEF, so they are NOT a sponsor. Thanks, and stick to your TV3 argument Smile

If you are happy about having Unicef plastered on your shirt and not receive any money for it then good for you.
As you pointed out you aint getting paid from Unicef so it cant be a sponsor but you are getting paid by TV3 so i am right tongue

Yes, we're happy about it because we've made a move that will give us amazing global PR without diverting from our club's philosophy.

As for TV3, Cule has said already that nobody minds having it, it's not "truly" a shirt sponsor in the way that everyone else uses that term, but if you want to bend the conventional meaning for your gain the fine Smile

What an easy game. Osasuna were absolutely dreadful, not a football team at all. But we still had to score and we did that quite well. The defence was secure, midfield ticked along nicely, and Etoo and Ronaldinho looked back to their best (with some help from the Osasuna defence and keeper of course!).

    Player ratings:

Valdes = 5. Didn't have to make any saves, but I give him a 5 because of his dreadful goal kicks.

Zambrotta = 7. Quiet first half, didn't really get into the game, but improved in the 2nd as he started to push up a bit more.

Thuram = 9. World class performance, won every hearder and stepped forward every time he was required to. Never caused me to worry about his lack of pace.

Marquez = 7. Much quieter than Thuram, sat a bit deeper than him too which surprised me a bit considering Thuram is the less mobile of the two. But anyway, good to see him cutting out the mistakes.

Sylvinho = 7. Again, not much to do. Got forward well as he always does.

Edmilson = 6. Nice to see him back. Could have done better in the first half IMO, esp. when linking up play between midfield and defence, because I felt Thuram had the ball far too much.

Xavi = 6. Regular Xavi performance. Moved the ball well, couple of dangerous passes, good movement, and he played for 90 mins so I think fitness doubts are now gone.

Deco = 7. Very good performance and good to see him rested for the midweek CL game. Some great touches as always. One thing I noticed today, he has such great balance and flexibility in his upper body. It's a pity he chooses to dive so often.

Messi = 6. In and out of the game. Made some good runs and was extremely unlucky to hit the post.

Etoo = 9. Man of the match. Two well taken goals, ran hard all game long (presumably motivated by his chance for a hat-trick), even when the other playrs relaxed.

Ronaldinho = 8. Did his thing, constant danger. Seemed very motivated to play well, and also surprised me by keeping it simple rather than trying all his tricks even when we were 3-0 up. And I also noticed him tracking back at least 3 or 4 times!!!!! Is this the start of a new Ronaldinho?

Giuly = 4. Not the greatest performance, missed all his chances and poor when delivering the final ball.

Iniesta = 7. What a class player, would be the first name on the teamsheet in most clubs. Good to see the midfield working well with him and Xavi there.

    Oleguer = n/a

And I think I know why Rijkaard rested Puyol - it's probably to give him a break from the disaster in midweek against N. Ireland, where Puyol himself didn't play too well. On the other hand although Marquez was a bit poor against Celta, he had been at the club all week and was presumably also more fit than Puyol.

Thuram needs to perform like this in a couple more tougher games, and then I think we may start seeing the killer combination of Puyol-Thuram at the back with Marquez as DM.

A very good performane tonight from the European Champions, if it was another team the fans would be having orgasms and posting a lot of shit.

The players did the job in the first half and in the second they still tried to get a goal or two (Guily's miss, Messi one on one, Eto'o had 2 chances as well).

The performance tonight wasn't our peak, not by far, we can play MUCH better than tonight so just imagine.

Hopefully the silly people who were talking rubbish about Barça will shut up now.

We still haven't seen Barça to their full potential...

so, Cule, you're not gonna have an orgasm tonight? :haha:

good performance, and it shows also Osasuna is not the team it once was.

All in all, let's see whether RM's record 15 straight victories from 45 years ago is going to be endangered this season! Wink

I only have orgasms with football when we play like we did against Madrid in the Bernabeu. Fans of other clubs like Madrid,Arsenal etc.. would be having multiple ones if they played like we did tonight.

I'm really happy about the performance but if we were playing at our 100% today it would've been something like 7-0.

What I'm really hoping for is that the Zambrotta-Messi connections improves to the level of the Sylvinho-Ronnie connection. If those two can work on that we will have lethal wings. Also I was really happy with Eto'o today, he put in so much effort today, fought for every ball, pressured the Osasuna defence a lot and in the end got 2 goals and an assist.

If we keep improving and reach our maximum level then I can see another round of applause from the madridistas in the cuernabeu.

Right, I'm off to celebrate. If any of you barcelonesos are out tonight I'm in Catwalk. Just ask for a Barça fan and you'll see me.

Yeah cule's right about the 100% thing, we basically went into 0.5th gear after the 2nd minute goal. The next two came from Etoo's persistence and defensive errors. If we kept pressuring then Germany-San Marino's 13-0 would have been in danger Wink

At least someone gets what I mean. Kasnani speaks the truth lads, we were into the 0.5th gear but we still destoyed Osasuna (a team I like).

Eto'o as we say in castellano "puso un par de huevos" (my spanish is good LSR) and he got 2 goals and an assist, MOTM imho. I'm so happy beause the madnriles will be pissed off that they let such a good player go their enemies.

I said this to my brother before the commentators of the game said it: If Messi and Zambrotta can reach the level of "connection" that Sylvinho and Ronnie have then our wings could be lethal, better than any other club could imagine.

This season us cules (normally negative cunts) can be more postive than ever. We should win the double again and if we don't it's not because the other team(s) was/were better than us, it's 'cos we fucked up.

Do you think Zambo is going to fit into the system? For some reason I'm not so sure that he'll be as good for you as he was at Juve - he'll have a lot more defensive responsibility than he had there
