A Woodgate - Metzelder central defence would be truly awesome for Real. Only problem: Both are too injury prone.

Boateng: We've been robbed it was never a penalty.

So putting two hands out to stop a ball is not a penalty? Rolling Eyes

Not when you put your hands up to protect your face even though the ball is coming in at waist height...

    Suspect Suspect

Stonewall penalty - both hands up, ball clearly hits them. Where's the argument?

Boro deserved the draw, and Giggs' shot against the post was the turning point. Ronaldo had a poor-ish game, despite the BBC's best attempts to make out he was the best player on the pitch. I actually think Carrick was better than Giggs on the day, though both had very good games. O'shea didn't look too bad either.

Dissapointing Sad We were so close.

We got fucking battered in the first half...but United never made enough of it. The first goal was shite defending aswell...we just went to sleep and let the fat fucker shoot. Our first goal was quality though Very Happy Good ball from Downing(XFACTOR) then brilliant touch and shot from Cat(XFACTOR). So the doubters and "he's just about power and tackling" posters can fuck off Very Happy

Much better in the second half...shit marking from United..good cross from Downing(XFACTOR) again though. Then the pen...I can see where George is coming from, the ball was going at his face, and he put his hands up in front of his face....the ball hit...but they usually get given for United so there we go.

    we was robbed guv

    Yeh Carrick was good.

Arca ran the show for us in the middle I thought..the pass to Downing in the first couple of mins where Downing should have scored(one on one)....he never gives the ball away...wins it back well...breaks up play well...picks out some great little passes from time to time. Feeds the ball to Downing at every oppertunity.

Just a few weeks ago, he said we'd get knocked out as soon as we met decent opposition, and they asked him if we'd get to a final he just said "no chance" and left it at that. CUNT.

Then earlier today he said without Yakubu and Viduka we're pretty much nothing. Well they were average today..didn't score and we're still there, arent we. HE SHOULD HAVE PUT A FUCKING BET ON THAT ONE.

Only absentee from the Chelsea squad today is Joe Cole, whilst Spurs have Robinson, King, Jenas and Defoe all out, as they hope to become the 2nd side to win at the Bridge in the Jose Mourinho era.

It will more likely be Defoe and Berby upfront...Lennon might get rested, won't be our stongest side...
