    Attacking overload simply does not work if the team your playing against can actually create chances/score them.

    We've got one of the best defensive records in the Champions league this season.

    How are the two even comparable?

    Took AK Alkmaar to the cleaners on Thurs though. He was brilliant. On his day a grand player, but hugely inconsistent
    His one really good game for us to be honest, he'll have to do more than that to keep Zoggy out of the team.

    And yes Bramble is hugely overrated but only by Newcastle fans and Joe Royal. I post on nufc online and you can't criticize him without someone jumping down your throat, same with Butt. But people unfairly criticize Parker, Taylor, Milner, and Dyer all the time, even though they're the backbone of our team. ok

    @Kimbo,

    ricketts won 1 cap whilst playing for Bolton. Phillips a couple playing for Sunderland. Downing has been in the squad playing for Boro.

    In the under 21's Taylor, Milner, Nugent, Richards, Carson amongst others all play at northern clubs.

    Your theory only works because you selectively ignore these facts.

    Lennon will never impress you because you are clearly sore that he's better than N'Zogbia <Ale>

    Konchesky won his England cap playing a friendly because at the time there was a dearth of decent english left backs, and because Cole and Bridge were injured if I remember.

    Anton is well known because he is rio's brother which is natural

    Dawson was recieving plenty of media attention even when he was at Forest- his first call up to the England squad was when he was playing for them. Forest arent a southern team.

    Lennon recieves media attention because he is an exciting attacking player and not a defender. These types of players, especially english ones, get more attention. Plus everyone bar you can see he is class.

    Anymore examples that I can take apart? Biggrin

    You haven't taken them apart, you've just disagreed. And Dawson was only called up to a training camp while with forrest, not the actual squad. That sort of thing happens all the time.

    And not everyone thinks Lennon is class, i know several people that think he's way overrated. <Ale>
