Carrick is playing well in Schole's role.

Ronaldo is simply awesome. I hate him

Rooney just needs consistency in all comps. Does help when he's not played out of position

United playing very well. Boro are no mugs at the riverside.

If united play like this in the CL there is no reason why they cant get to the final

You have a chip on your shoulder the size of belgium about the north south divide.

Channel 5 showing every newcastle match in the Uefa Cup over the southern sides is enough evidence that its total crap.

Yeah, superb goal. Especially Downing's initial cross which created the confusion in Man. Utd's defence. Was with his weaker right foot too ok

Maybe they would've shown Spurs game against Feyenoord, the only truely challenging game Spurs would've had so far. Erm

C5 love us, we know that, they always have. It doesn't change the fact that northern players don't get the hype London players do. <Ale>

Very good game so far - pretty open, little fouling, good referee (except the Larsson yellow). Nice goal from Rooney, better goal from Cattermole, both times I'd question what the keepers thought they were doing. The Aussie for Boro shouldn't have been standing two-thirds of the way across the goal when he knows Rooney is right-footed. The Jam Roll for Man U seemed to be trying to make sure Ferdinand went off injured rather than trying to clear the ball.

    Cattermole>Lampard.

Put into the England team too early. Now he's been left out his confidence has grown and he is looking good. Great crosser

    No chance. Razz

We're saving Richardson's X-Factor for late in the game.

Disappointed they scored obviously but at least we're playing really well. More goals in the game to come I think as well.
