    interesting stuff

some on here claimed that the Milan defence was good in the first leg but that Dida let them down

personally, I told you that Nesta and Ambrosini had looked rather dodgy

it now seems that Dida was so distraught with all the ciriticism that he instructed his manager to issue a statement

Dida's representative claimed that the ENTIRE Milan defence, in particular Nesta and Oddo, had been non-existent against Bayern

    Milanese infighting: I love it

I hope Bayern play tactically clever

this Roma "attack with the heart on your sleeve when it's not really necessary at all-nonsense" would not work

    hussle Milan

make it VERY physical; grind them down

the fear in Munich is that Inzaghi is going to provide another Lawrence Olivier performance

I for one am far from bored about it Otto, indeed most excited about the prospect of salvaging at least something from this round after the horror story that was last night, but need to get some work done before dashing off for it. Probably just have to content yourself with the banter between you and old Bernd.

Can't seem to access the Bayern website at the mo. Post some interesting links would you, there's a good chap...

    Im looking forward to tonight.

The Allianz Arena is v impressive and noisy, so even if the teams are tetchy I doubt the crowd will be, full of Bavarian beer and sausage

"Kahn attackiert Rensing" – tosser. The kid probably already deserves his place ahead of him. Though to be fair the only Bayern CL game I was able to see in full before this round, against Inter in the San Siro, Kahn was pretty damn good in...

Schweinsteiger will be a big loss, now that it looked like he was gaining form again. Can't see Bayern playing too attacking under these circumstances really, although the crowd will do their best to drive them forward.

    I do indeed.

If Otto wasnt supporting Munich (gloryhunter that he is) I'd wholeheartedly back Munich, but I get such a lovely warm feeling inside the next morning when I log in after his predictions have gone disastrously wrong.

Just hope its a good game. It'll be much tighter than last night I expect - a team only plays like United did once in a couple of seasons

Bernd that's a crap reason, picking what team to support so you can gloat on a football forum is just a teensy bit sad. At least my loathing of e.g. all things United comes from the heart... let's hope for a cracker though.

Shut it, its a brilliant reason and you know it Laughing

I have no links nor rivalries outside of this forum with German or Italian fans so I'll probably be neutral.

Hope the crowd get stuck in, it really is a fabulous stadium- how Munich ever played in that shitpit of an old one i'll never understand

Ottl is a defensive midfielder though, different position. But Ottl really suprised me in the last few months. Did you see that awesome assist he made in the Hannover match this weekend? The lob to Demichelis, who scored with a great strike?

Ottl has a lot of potential, but he is very inexperienced still, unlike Schweinsteiger. If Schweini can't play, I expect Hargreaves to move on the wings, with Ottl and Van Bommel in the centre.

Is German football on the line tonight Otto?

What will be the ramifications if Bayern go out on the whole?

But most interestingly, who will you start supporting next?
