'The Fields of Anfield Road' is a disgrace.

Oh, and I noticed a Basque flag in the crowd, why was that?

    Well my MOTM was Carragher.

Mascherano was good but its not as though he had too much to deal with as Chelsea only seemed bothered about lobbing the ball up to Drogba.

Carragher handlesd all threats superbly and gave 110% right to the last

Not sure...they were awful in the groups stage and against Celtic. Their lack of creativity is ridiculous.

awful? a bit of an exageration though, not brilliant but then its all about peaking at the right time.

I think Milan have plenty of creativity but their lack of firepower is whats worrying since they mainly rely on the midfielders, in partucular kaka, on scoring.

Well, they couldn't score in three groups' stage matches and took more than 180 minutes to score against Celtic. Playing with a single striker doesn't help. I would like to see them winning, but they need to improve a lot.

I agree with that Coaty, this is how Pool have conquered all the great team two years ago. It is impossible to play against the defensive setup. Long-ball is inevitable.

I don't mean there's no atmosphere at Anfield after 20 minutes (if that's what the pool fans think), but it becomes a lot quieter (perhaps naturally), meaning the 'Anfield factor' becomes less and less of a problem for the opposition. Ale
