Zambo has said no to a potential Milan move, he said that he is "100%" committed to Barca.

And apparently we (Milan) are linked to Emerson (please no).

    Interesting comment from Berlusconi >

"Eto'o and Sheva would also be welcome [to join the Rossoneri]," he said. "Kaka? It is impossible that he will go to Madrid."

Edmilson would be open to a move to Milan, he says. I personally would not mind seeing him leave. With him and Motta on their way out, it will open a spot for fresh legs in the DM position.

I still think he'd be a very good signing for anyone, and has 2-3 good years left in him. It's just that we now need fresh blood in the team, so a move is better for everyone.

I think he's also well suited to Serie A and will do well in your team, even overtaking Ambrosini.

I hope Emerson does not join Milan too.... I know he had a poor season (so did Cannavaro), but I still rate them very highly.... specially if they come back to familiar environment of Serie A... I hope they do NOT join Milan.

Before he left for Real, I rated Emerson among the top 2 or 3 DMs in the world...

I wouldn't mind El Puma.. As far as Edmilson is concerned i'm pretty confused. I never rated him as a CB but the few times i saw him playing DM i thought he good do a good enough job. He is probably a better marker than Ambro but Ambro is currently our only 'airforce'

Fiorentina have officially announced two new signings from the Czech Republic – Ondrej Mazuch and Jan Hable.

The squad is focusing on youth for the 2007-08 campaign and after picking up former Arsenal and Derby County striker Arturo Lupoli on a free transfer, they have also acquired two Czech 18-year-olds.

Mazuch arrives from Brno, the side that finished in fifth place in the Czech league this year, having scored one goal in 24 games.

Hable is a central midfielder who played in the second division at Hradec, but is considered to be one of the country’s most promising young talents and was signed after Fiorentina beat off competition from Celtic and Inter.

The club has confirmed that both starlets have put pen to paper on a five-year contract.

Inter are close to announcing a deal for Cristian Chivu that would give Walter Samuel, David Pizarro and £3m to Roma.

The Nerazzurri have never made a secret of their interest in the former Ajax defender and have been actively trying to tempt him away for several seasons.

The turning point is set to come this summer with contract renegotiations hitting obstacles, so the Giallorossi are finally ready to release the Romanian.

It’s reported that Inter have offered to hand over the remaining half of Pizarro’s contract – as he moved to Roma on a co-ownership deal this term – plus former Olimpico fan favourite Samuel and £3m cash.

Another option would be World Cup winning left-back Fabio Grosso, but the Argentine is more suited as a direct replacement for Chivu in central defence.

The five-year contract has been drawn up worth £2.7m at San Siro.

Coz stupid Nike made mistakes... In the patch which highlights the 100 year anniversary of the club two error's are found. The shirts have been pulled off the market making them collector's items while corrections take place.

Here is the link to the picture of the patch:

    http://www.gazzetta .it/Calcio/ Primo_Piano/ 2007/06_Giugno/ 01/maglia_ 0106.shtml

The first mistake is a big one. Inter was founded on March 9, 1908. The patch reads March 8, 1908 (8 Marzo 1908). The second error is more difficult to pick up. There is an "R" missing in the line 100 anni Nerazzuro. Nerazzuro should be spelled NERAZZURRO with 2 "R's"

I can understand the spelling mistake but to get the date wrong!! Come on NIKE get your act together!

That ok, a few games here and there can happen....

I had thought that he was among the top 3 most talented defenders 5 years ago when Ajax reached the CL quarters, and 5 years since, game on game, he has only made me believe more and more...

And he is a pretty decent LB too!

Chivu would be a great buy for Inter Milan or any other club for that matter, he would stake a place in pretty much any club. He had an off day at Old Trafford, in fact most of their team did for that matter as they were slaughted by a fine Man Utd team. It hasn't changed my mind on him though, he is still top class.

Us Englanders know all about him from Euro 2000. Grr

I think he became Ajax captain at 21 so that shows how good he was at a young age. Its about time he moved to an elite club (no disrespect to Ajax or AS Roma) as he can do it for a Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, Inter Milan etc....

How much would Roma demand in a transfer situation?

The talk is of Pizzaro+Samuel+£4M, so that would be about £16-18M
