Park Ji Sung was brilliant in the latter part of his PSV career.
Just a shame how he's playing at United though - he's NEVER shown what he's capable of. He plays very polite: does his job ably, always looks for his team mates to pass to. At United he has lost all his arrogance, to become a perfect watercarrier but it has made him a worse player IMO. He hardly ever goes for the goal anymore!

    scratch

He's always been good when he's played. Most United fans love him as well. If it wasn't for Giggs' reputation, Park would of started in front of him.

Just when he started getting his season going last year, he then got that serious injury.

Parks, your response with a scratch is all the information I need. I'm not sure if you know what the lad can do.

If you ever saw him play for PSV you'd have noticed that he was a considerably more attacking player than he is at United. Parks is still good, but not near very good like he was. Its like he doesn't want to impose himself on a match.
At PSV he played like he was trying to prove something, at United he plays like he's just glad to be there. He's never bad, but he's never anything than 'good' either.

Its all in his head - if SAF can unlock it he'd be one of the better wingers in the prem.

Great start for Feyenoord. Ale ok

Would like you to go all the way, tired of seeing PSV win the league every year (PSV is the club in Holland I like least).

    Cheers Blut <Ale>

Yeah I hope we win the title this year ( of course) cause then we have the same amount titles as the Jews in the last 10 years...they wont like that Laughing

PSV is boring indeed...last years they overlapped us in terms of titles. But it remains a "small" team. Its not a real club. Philips Sport Verein....I mean that says enough.

Hence I rather have penisV to win 10 titles then ajax 1...If it wasnt for van Gaal I think I wouldnt mind if AZ won it.

Was boring but at the moment I don't care. I'll take any win. Luigi Bruins's contract should be renewed. We need to keep him as long as possible. What a worldclass finsh. Great assist by Sahin too.

Finishing is the best thing about this Feyenoord site. We aren't playing very good footy yet, but at least everybody can score (unlike Arsenal). We look pretty solid too. Van Marwijk should give our young talented midifelders a kick up the ass. Sahin, de Guz, Bruins & to a lesser degree Hofs all ooze class, but tend to take it a little too easy.

Anyway we're top of the league again! <Ale>

This team remind me a bit of PSV from last years, only we have more creative players so we should play better football. I think we will get more points in away matches this year then at home.

Sahin needs to be signed...what a pass again from him. But what a finish by Bruins. He reminds me a bit of Pirlo, not his playstyle but he looks a bit absent.

I think we are better then Arsenal at the moment to be honest. We can play like them..but they cant score like us!!

You're right about that comparison with PSv, not exciting, but solid and scoring easily. Think we played our best fooball in patches of the second half away v Utreg. Think if the players gel a little bit more, we'll see more of that. Think Arsenal have showed better football so far this season, but Arsenal lack the sting we have. I like our lethalness. Everybody can finish & in Gio, De Guz, Sahin & Bruins we have 4 players with a great pass. Al set pieces will be dangerous. for crosses & corners we have great headers in Makaay, Vlaar & Hofland. For direct freekicks we have De Guz, Bruins, Sahin, Makaay... Would leave the team like it is for the moment. Vincken will be a greta sub if we can't open up a game. Hope Greene will be back soon, Lucius is our weakest link & I like what Greene offers attacking.

MAKAAY is better than I thought. <Ale>

Well what I dont get with these kind of matches is the subs. What is the use to bring in Mols and Buys?? Especially when you are 2 nil up. I would pick Schet and Wijnaldum any time of the day then.

Same here. Mols can stay fit in the Reserves, could understand Buys a little bit. Think we needed some pepper. But otherwise I prefer Wijnaldum.

Two weeks no matches, because of the shitty international break. Thereafter we can see how good we really are:

    16/9 Roda away
    23/9 PSV away
    26/9 Utreg home (cup)
    29/9 Heerenveen home
    7/10 Vitesse away

Great result this weekend. Its the sign of a great team when they can win despite not playing to their potential.

Its early days but its a great start and you have the edge after the weekends results.

    Lets hope it continues.

Well for the next 2 weeks we're top of the league.

At least -like City- we're much better than last year. I'm sure we qualify for the CL playoffs & will be hard to beat in those matches. If things really go our way, who knows, we might even win the league.

    Very sad news....

Marco van Basten wants to become a Feyenoord coach ( I cant blame him, but we dont want him)
