I would love to involve Gago or Higuin in the deal
To be honest, I think if we sign Reyes and Robben we'll have enough cover for the wings and signing Drenthe to play as left back seems like a waste since that is not his actual position. I hope he stays where he is for a couple of more seasons.

TM wrote:Real Madrid striker Roberto Soldado has verbally agreed terms over a new contract extension.
Alberto Toldra, Soldado's agent, held lengthy talks with Real directors yesterday and came away with a virtual agreement over a four-year contract extension.
It was also agreed that Soldado will remain in Madrid next season. It's understood that option was a personal request made by prospective new Real coach Bernd Schuster.

Schuster to be presented on Monday.
Kaka is going to demand a buyout clause when he negotiates his new contract with Galliani so that Madrid will be able to pay it and bring him to Spain.
Cesc is in the plans "in case" we don't sign Kaka.
Mijatovic is close to signing Drenthe (now there will be overbooking on the left wing )
Toldo, Robben, and Huntelaar are also "in the agenda".
Torrente wrote:According to Marca, Arsenal would be willing to sell us Cesc is we gave them Robinho
They should have known better before printing that story. Wenger would NEVER trade a 20 year old for a 23 year old. In Wenger terms, Robinho is 40 years old while Cesc is kind of young but getting a bit on the old side.

So the real question, if it could be done, would you do it? I think I would.
they know damn well that he is worth more but they might aswell start off low. if they get a chance to get him for 12-10 mil they will take him for sure.Sheffield gunner wrote:7m euroes is a joke. Since when have Real Madrid turned into such a stingy team? Willing to waste money left, right and centre but won't even pay 10-12m euroes for Reyes. It's not like we're even trying to rip them off, 10m euros for Reyes would be an absolute bargain.
COTR, I don't think we could get him to play for us even if we wanted him to. He really doesn't want to return to England (although some people are speculating that he might be more eager to now that Henry is gone).

we were after abidal . he is Cr@p just like henry if you didnt know. and who cares about malouda anyway if we get robben. about drenthe i couldnt care less. i mean all the hype comes one u-21 euro cup and he is young i think. as long as you dont ruin the robben you can sign all the Cr@p players(henry, abidal) you want.golsud wrote:And Kaka will be staying at Milan, Cesc at Arsenal, we signed Henry & Abidal (who madrid were wanted), Malouda probably to Chelsea...
