Hammers are awful, said at the start of the season they wont finish in the top 10. Spurs will easily overtake them.

They've had a few tough games in a row (Chelsea-Liverpool-Spurs away), but unless they can recover their form quickly, we may be witnessing Curbishley's annual slump.

Wigan Athletic XI: Kirkland, Melchiot, Scharner, Boyce, Edman, Valencia, Brown, Palacios, Koumas, King, Heskey

Hopefully the trend remains that Wigan do not take points of any of the top three.

I wanted to put Torres in mine because of the run he's having and the fact they were playing Newcastle so it was Adeboyor or Berbatov out. Luckily I went for Adeboyor (though he may score a hatrick vs Wigan).

We started brightly but are struggling for fluency a bit now. Too narrow, which is inevitable considering our midfield formation. Wigan haven't created anything, although Valencia looks like a threat. Bendtner got a bit of a harsh yellow card, but nothing too unjust.

-12 in 270 minutes of football!! Fair play to them hammers it were 3 hard away matches...but the Spurs one shouldnt be lost with these numbers. Cause Spurs is a poor side, at least they are constant.

It's not good at all. They shouldn't be allowed to play rugby on the same pitch. This isn't sour grapes or anything because we're struggling a bit, but it just isn't good enough for a top flight team to have such an awful pitch. It makes everything so scrappy.

Not the best half. A real shame for us that Adebayor couldn't score that great chance in the first half. Wigan have made life very difficult although they haven't really created anything. We're playing too narrow and taking a bit too long on the ball. Adebayor needs to raise his game, he hasn't been very good so far.

Two good goals by Tottenham in the second half - a nice touch, turn and finish by Gilberto for their third, and a great ball from Hutton headed in by Bent for the fourth. I only watched from the second half, and then in bits - West Ham looked to be going for things and closing down and working, but Tottenham looked classy when they did go forward, their players moved well and gave a lot of options. Lennon looked dangerous going down the right and West Ham gave him a lot of space.

I saw a replay of the Everton goal and it was very fortunate - two Everton players, Cahill and Johnson, jumped for a cross and basically missed it, but it hit the latter's back and went in.

This is the first weekend where I've been really focusing on the results of the other teams near the bottom, almost as anxious for them to lose as I am for us to win. So Sunderland's defeat is appreciated, and I'm hoping Wigan lose too, though I'm not convinced that they will. The pitch does look really bad, especially in the centre, and I also have the impression, from what I've seen of Arsenal recently, that they have been reverting to overplaying, to passing the ball without an edge at times. But I'm watching the second half now and they've started very brightly.

Good effort from Valencia. We've been woeful in the second half. Can't pass the ball, can't control the ball and Wigan are picking up the tempo. RVP and Toure on for Bendtner and Gilberto. Good to have Van Persie back, hopefully he'll make it through more than a half before picking up an injury this time.

Absolutely dreadful performance. We really were extremely disappointing. We didn’t do anywhere near enough to win the game. We are throwing the league away. 3 points from games against Wigan, Villa and Birmingham is simply not good enough. Van Persie looked bright when he came on, but he was the only positive for us. Most of the attacking players who did well in Milan simply didn’t produce the goods today. Adebayor and Hleb were particularly abysmal. Hleb had one of those games where he appears as if he is deliberately passing to the opposition every time. Man Utd are certainly favourites for the title now. We haven’t won a game in England for nearly a month now.

Wigan worked hard and frustrated us, so fair play to them. Their pitch is an utter disgrace though. With all the money in the league it’s not good enough for a team to have this bad a pitch.

The pitch is terrible, clubs have realised the only way stop us is to either kick us or prouduce a rubbishy pitch, there you go, done it for him.
