Not when Madriz do it Wink

That doesn't even compare to you guys inflating the market for Cr@p strikers by paying all that money for Gudjonssen. You even tried to fool people into believing he's better than Saviola Laughing

He was 12 million euros, hows that inflating the market? Yikes

He's worth no more than 5 million when you consider how Cr@p he is. You've opened the door for strikers like Heskey and Vagner Love to be sold for relatively astronomical prices. Cool

You've lost the plot like your president Laughing

That same president sold Raul Bravo for 4 million Euros. Show some respect.

Meh. I'm obviously exagerating since he was so Cr@p last season. Looked almost as bad as Maxi Lopez.

But I would hardly call the guy a great player. He had a good partnership with Hasselbank a few years back but I was never overly impressed by him.

I forgot about that part. That's where he reminds you he's a moron. Calls Mejia a "great player".

However, he does have a point that Mejia has never gotten much trust from his coaches. Personally, I think he's a decent player, but nothing more. I wouldn't mind having him in the squad but there's no point of him staying since he would be 5th choice CB or possibly 6th if Helguera stays (which is unlikely).

Ajax winger Wesley Sneijder has already been contacted by Real Madrid about a move to Spain.

Marca says the Holland international's agent, Soren Lerby, held talks with Real last week after coach Bernd Schuster had asked his new board to go for the midfielder.

Sneijder has already attracted a bid of £8 million from Valencia this summer and Real must see off their Primera Liga rivals to land the winger.

Valencia are set to try again for Sneijder after being priced out of a deal for Porto ace Lucho Gonzalez.

    8M, cheap.

No way this can be right. Not only because Ajax will ask for more, but because Sneijder is actually class and even if the market wasn't full of inflaced prices etc, he'd simply still be worth more than €8m.

It said 8 million pounds, which is 12 milion euros, but still too low. Ajax will sell him for 15+, esp. if Madrid and their money are the buyers.

Babel leaves for 10+m quid and Sneijder for 8m. scratch

    Laugh

Something's not right here. Sneijder is (whether some like it or not) the most important player for Ajax.

An offer of 13.5 M euros from Valencia has been rejected a couple of weeks ago.

Ajax were holding out for 15 M.

Rumour has it that Valencia was finally willing to fork out the 15 M, but that Real is trying to hijack the deal at 17 M euros....

Cannavaro to stay on - good news ok

His second season will be much better than his first, he wasn't that bad last season, some games awful, but in the big games he played well.

Also means likes of Mejia or Helguera won't play centre-back.

Metzelder, Cannvaro, Pepe, Ramos........... Helguera, all centre back options.

Depending on Ivan's valencia move ofcourse.

Both Metz and Pepe are quick - speed-wise and the Bundasliga is a very physical leauge, as long as Metz keeps injury free i think he will have a great season.

Pepe is quick, but Superliga and Liga are two different leauges, and ofcourse will require time to adapt.

Bernd Schuster told a German paper today that he does not plan to sign any more German players this summer, but Real will sign a few more players. In future, he wants to sign young players predominately, he wants to build for the future, establish continuous and stable structures in the team, look for long term solutions.

Not many German players on the market that could be of interest to Real, all of the interesting ones won't (or can't) leave their clubs, at least for now, so it's understandable.
