    ?

we have documented the wealth of talent available to German football in the 18-year+ category already

BELOW that though, we seem to find ourselves in whole different kind of

    football ELDORADO

    Biggrin

the DFB and club reforms in the youth sector are starting to bite

my only worry is: do we have enough professional places in the Bundesliga to let them play Question

    +

will the Dutchies and Brazilians watch those videos below and start spying on our youth academies Question affraid

    http://www.hartplatzhelden.de/awards/juni_2007/tor/

take a look at 1 and 4 in particular ( I have already posted 2 and 3 in the past)

the first one seems to be some obscure village game, BUT it's played on articifial grass that is WET; ie , it's almost impossible to control the ball

4 , again, is a kick-about in the middle of nowhere it seems

    recorded by pure coincidence

    @Nederlanders + Brazilians

you may no longer win anything on the pitch, but now even your REPUTATION is on the line

    lol!

    @axel

your problem is that the ENTIRE football world WATCHED the U-21 EC

don't feed us your heroic Dutch hear-say

we SAW what you had to offer

    Shocked

    now

    without wanting to sound sexist

your U-21 displayed the same skill-level as you would expect from 11 girls trying to exchange a back-wheel of a Gazelle bike in 90 minutes

it was NOT pretty and 82 million Germans, sitting at home in front of their flatscreens were thinking:

" f@ck winning ; THIS cannot be the answer

I'd rather our boys continue playing the most beautiful football in the world AND losing to "whatever those Dutchies call what they are doing there"

The problem is that Germans won't even recognize beautiful football if it stood up right in front of their noses, shouted "I want my bike back" and bit them in the ass !

And that's all because you simply don't know it watching all that German football : "wat een boer niet kent, dat vreet ie niet" ok

haha, we have the same saying in north-Germany

"wat der Baur nich kennt, dat fret er nich"

    lol!

the thing is, no matter how strongly you Dutchies try to sell the world your particular brand of football-Haggis

    nobody is buying anymore <Ale>

I was a bit cheeky with my quote above by cutting it

    apologies

the complete quote goes like this:

"" f@ck winning ; THIS cannot be the answer

I'd rather our boys continue playing the most beautiful football in the world AND losing to "whatever those Dutchies call what they are doing there

    Howls like a wolf

    lol!

9 months later another future product of the endless conveyor belt of German football talents is born

and you, my dear Dutchies, have nobody to blame but yourselves

    lol!

anybody hear the story of Bayern-Wacker Burghausen yesterday Question

first Cup game for the two teams this season

    a real THRILLER

leading to penalties which Bayern narrowly won

the REAL story , however, is the emergence of the LATEST GERMAN WUNDERKIND

    a goalie called RIEMANN

18-years-old he kept the very good looking Bavarians at bay double-handedly, producing one stunning save after another

Miroslav Klose (13. /26./34.) Hamit Altintop (17.), Mark van Bommel (18. ), Franck Ribery (24.) then Bastian Schweinsteiger (44.)

    Shocked Shocked Shocked

then a saved a penalty and scored one himself

    Shocked Shocked Shocked

surely, the hottest young goalie talent in world football

    @ Nederlanders

did any of you see the game and Wunder-RIEMANN Question

couldn't believe your Dutch eyes, heh

do Ajax or PSV or Feyenoord still need a world class goalie Question

what about a straight swap : Riemann to ManU and van der Sar to Wacker Burhausen

interview and picture with-of the 18 year old world sensation

    a) he thinks he was merely one part of the team

(mark the SHARP contrast to Lewis Hamilton)

    b) Q: you did not really want to take a penalty yourself. What changed your mind

Riemann: "My manager gave me the kind of look I did not want to see twice. He said : 'Junge, du schießt. Hau ihn einfach rein.' Das habe ich dann auch umgesetzt' (Look mate, you'll take one. Just smash the ball in. I just followed his instructions)

You didn't know that? Had a ton of highly amusing 'conversations' with the Barça fans about him already... Very Happy

Barcelona stole him from Leverkusen though. Leverkusen played a youth tournament on Mallorca, and Dennis Krol, 12 years old back then, impressed the Barcelona staff so much that they signed him.

Leverkusen never played a youth tournament there again.
