    i don't get your question

why would Poldi not play at Cologne ?

they will even construct an entire club marketing strategy around him, probably appoint him as their captain immediately and strengthen the team just to do justice to Poldi's ambitions

the Kölner mayor, the Land PM, etc are all aching for a Poldi return

the lad is still one of the hottest strikers in the world

why would he not play ? Doh
your world must be pretty small

    player d.o.b avg. kicker rating

    Ishiaku, Manasseh (9)09.01.19833,00
    Novakovic, Milivoje (11)18.05.19793,32

being a talent is impossibly difficult in Germany

no matter how good you are, chances are you won't get playing time

    things are changing slightly though

    Bayern treated Poldi like SHITE

Klinsi is conducting a systematic mobbing campaign against Poldi on the Bayern website despite the fact that Poldi does not say anything

when Poldi was voted Best Young Player of the 2006 World Cup, he went back to Bayern where they told him the two old strikers were SEEDED and they saw him in the starting line-up within two years

I still don't understand how Poldi could run around smiling ever since then

a van Bommel would have thrown a hissy-fit and rightly so

you will see that Poldi will play sensational football in Cologne where they appreciate him

He's just grateful to be playing pro football - for anyone.

He is not even on the radar outside of Germany.

He's like Lahm, Klose - good at Intl tournies but would be ineffective in CL.

I don't think even UEFA Cup teams like Everton or Villa would have him for free.

    ok chaps

our German conveyor belt has just delivered two further SUPER TALENTS that will set the football world alight

    1) Daniel Brosinski, 20 yo

    http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/spielersteckbrief/object/39677/saison/2008-09

the "amateur" was given his first outing for Cologne against Bayern in the mighty Allianz Arena

    due to "good training performances"

so how did he introduce himself to football Germany, I hear you shout ?

well, he SCORED a GOAL with his first SHOT on target Laugh

Klinsi thinks he cannot trust young German players, but Daum does and wipes the grin off the Californian's face

    2) Lewis Holtby, 18

THIS player is of more interest to our English friends

born in Germany to a Geman mother and an ENGLISH father, the lad slept in Gladbach bed sheets, but dreams of one day playing for Everton Smile

after his first two games as a sub, Holtby was allowed to start for Aachen vs Nürnberg, and immediately scored TWO goals with his left foot and got an assist

    ie

    MAN OF THE DAY

    cheers

as always, the best run club in the BUndesliga, Leverkusen, has already established contact

    http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/2bundesliga/spieltag/manndestages/liga/2/saison/2008-09/spieltag/20/naviindex/7

the kid now plays for Herrlich's U-19 and has already scored there as well

    3) Toni Kroos

    an old name, I know

the "talent of the century" was given short shrift by Klinsi

now on a loan to Leverkusen, he played his first 90 minutes in a friendly vs Warsaw

by common accounts, he was the MAN OF THE MATCH in the first 45 minutes and even got AN ASSIST

before tailing off somewhat in the second half due to lack of match fitness

goes to show that he WAS READY to play for Bayern NOW

    ------------------

incidentally, so far , Kroos biggest fan was Scholl who called him a FAR GREATER TALENT THAN MYSELF

    a new fan now emerges

KAHN: who says that when he first saw Kroos in training he was "just astonished by his skill and ability"

Kahn says he CANNOT explain why Klinsi got rid of him and never played him

nobody wants to mention that Gebhart, the 19 year old SUPER TALENT, managed to score within the first 20 minutes of his FIRST game for a 1.Bundelisga side ?

    against UEFA Champs Petersburg

    Yikes

at 1860, in the second league , he was still mostly played as a sub

yet, once given a chance, he seems to be more than able to terrify the biggest clubs in the world at his tender age and without ANY experience

    only in Germany

    cheers

meanwhile, Khedira, Stuttgart's DMC scored another beauty

    Laugh

    -------------------------

THE STORY of the WEEK is about

    Niklas Hörber

    though

the 17-year old striker still goes to Grammar School and only trains with Nürnberg sporadically

considering that Nürnberg's three professional strikers were rather off-target recently, the manager tried out the U-19 international in a game against a side from the Bayernliga

    Nürnberg won 4:0

Niklas Hörber scored ALL FOUR GOALS

    lol!

    only in Germany Smile

we now have so many talents pushing through in the Vaterland, that the DfB is dicussing the reestablishment of the fence/wall between EAst - and West Germany in an attempt to create TWO 1.Bundesligen

    ok

now the LATEST Teutonic SUPERTALENT to emerge on the global scene is

    Thomas Müller

    19 years of age

    a Bayern Munich AMATEUR

since Honess and Co refused to keep Klinsi's loverboy Donovan, and since Mussolini is out injured, Klinsi was left with Klose and Poldi only and had to promote the 19 yo amateur to the bench against Sporting

when the lad came on in the 72 nd minute he showed the rest of the CL world that the conveyor belt of German talents was indeed

    ENDLESS

what did Müller do, I hear you ask

    well

    he immediately got an ASSIST

    and then

    a GOAL himself

    cheers

Gerland, the Bayern youth coach calls him a JEWEL

GERD Müller, the best goal-scorer of ALL TIME thinks his namesake is the REAL-DEAL

    http://www.sport1.de/de/fussball/fussball_bundesliga/artikel_79869.html

    Ale

    -----------------

meanwhile, "Marca" reports that Real are chasing the

    19 yo BENDER TWINS

the agent of the twins indicates they won't leave Germany

    BUT

admits that LIVERPOOL made the two an offer when they were only 16 years old

and MAN U came knocking on the door when they were 17

    http://www.spox.com/de/sport/fussball/zweiteliga/0903/News/Real-Madrid-zeigt-Interesse-an-Bender-Zwillingen.html

is the endless conveyor belt going too fast - Page 4 Bender-real-514

    Yikes

    ------------------

we now have MANY of the hottest young TALENTS

    WORLD-FUCKING-WIDE

    cheers

    -------------------

    +

out of 44 players that STARTED for the FOUR English CL sides a few days ago, only NINE were ENglish

yet the Bayern First Eleven against Sporting featured

Butt, Lahm, Lell, Schweini, Ottl, Klose and Poldi

    and Müller came on later

    ie

    EIGHT Germans in one TEAM

WITHOUT Mussolini and Napoleon Bayern achieved their best result of the season

ONE CLUB with nearly as many Germans as FOUR ENGLISH clubs with Englanders

    Laugh

what does that tell us about the strength of GERMAN football vis-a-vis ENGLISH football ?

    lol!

    think about it

    Laugh Ale

    -----------

    PS

Lars Bender will almost certainly leave 1860 at the end of the season

the club desperately needs the money

Leverkusen are interested, but Bremen are reported to have the edge

the other Bender will probably stay put

Thomas Müller will join the Bayern Pros at the beginning of the new season and become their FOURTH striker after Klose, Mussolini and Olic

sitting on the bench like Breno now

Why a goalie talent would want to leave Germany for England (not exactly the breeding-ground of world class ball stoppers) is still a mystery to me. scratch

Guess, he will be back in 5 years' time...

    basically

EVERYBODY wants to sign the LAD

Hoffenheim were in pole-position, but Schalke now have the edge

Leverkusen are said to be VERY KEEN to sign him as well

    this is getting PREPOSTEROUS

    1) having only recently won the U-19 European Cup with a team consisting of 1860 and Bayer players

    we

    2) NOW win the U-17 European Cup beating Holland, humiliating England, defeating ITALY....

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxgQb1wXDXk&feature=related

    http://www.spox.com/de/sport/fussball/dfb-team/0905/Artikel/u-17-em-deutschland-europameister-wer-schafft-den-sprung-kroos-goetze-yabo-mustafi-thy.html

as if THAT was not enough, we then

    3) beat ITALY 1:0 at U-20 level, having previously beaten them 5:0

    http://www.spox.com/de/sport/fussball/dfb-team/0905/News/u20-junioren-holen-sieg-in-italien.html

    and go on to

    4) make FRANCE CRY at U-16 level ( 2:1 )

    http://www.spox.com/de/sport/fussball/dfb-team/0905/News/u-16-auswahl-siegt-gegen-frankreich.html

    which begs the QUESTION

IS THERE NO END TO THIS MADNESS ? Laugh

if THIS continues, will UEFA and FIFA have to ask Germany NOT to compete for a FEW YEARS so that comparitive football developing countries like France, Italy, England and Holland can catch up ?

Germany is now so CLEARLY the BEST country in the WORLD at producing football TALENTS that the question on the roads of Munich is whether within 4 years Bundesliga clubs will still employ ANY foreigners AT ALL

    the best news is

our friends Pierre, Axel, Bernd and Co did NOT see this COMING

    lol!

Cacau getting the call-up is a SCANDAL

I am MORE English than he is German and I would REFUSE to become a LION

    quite simply

    because

    I AM a German EAGLE

Löw is the greatest JOKE to befall German football, together with his godfather KLINSI and their cousin Bierhoff

    I told you . axel

    Löw is a CLOWN

    TOTALLY CLUELESS

    NOBODY takes him seriously anymore

Allofs just had a go at him

yesterday, Klopp had a go at him

Magath REGULARLY has a go at Löw and Klinsi and so it continues

even his BUDDY Hopp recently criticised Löw for hypocrisy over the ommission of Kuranyi when Poldi was let off without consequences

if I were you , I would get worried about the lack of DUTCH talents

we Germans were never good at youth tournaments , simply because we value experience more

now we are running RINGS AROUND YOU on what should be your HOME-TURF

    axel

    you should be WORRIED

    you should be WORRIED INDEED

Cacau HIMSELF applied for German citizenship MONTHS ago and it had NOTHING, absolutely nothing to do with wanting to play for the national team, ffs. It's because he, after living here for nearly ten years, feels at home and almost half-German.

Why don't people get that he's not another Paolo Rink or Sean Dundee? This is not engineered by the DFB or any other club, this was his private decision and he went the way everyone else has to (i.e. no speed-tracking either) and passed the damn Einbürgerungstest.

That Löw decided to call him up is an entirely different matter.

But I don't want to see the player get slagged off for it anymore - yep, it stinks in a way, but only because Löw decided to make an issue of it, not the player. Or are there any interviews out there in which he said something about 'oh, now I can play for the German team!'? I don't think so.
