Sorry for blowing off at you like that, I'm just so totally sick of seeing someone like Cacau, who is obviously NOT trying to get any favours (except for tax ones maybe ) by taking up German citizenship, lumped together with players like Rink or Dundee, who became German for entirely different reasons.Axeslammer wrote:Take it easy Anglo, I'm just yanking your chain

I just don't understand why other countries and their TV channels do not adopt it

Good kid, watched it on YouTube.
The transition ends in 2012 Otto. Hopefully, Löw (and / or whoever replaces him after 2010, if he resigns that is) makes good use of the time until then. We need to continue to blood in talented young players.

Guess who is still the Torwand record holder (alright, he is not the only one scoring 5 of 6)?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjlWankSRFg
P.S.: Die Absätze sind mindestens genauso hoch gewesen damals Wiebke, Frau oder Mann...
Just saw that you posted it already Otto. But just for the blasphemous "TRAITOR" comment, it deserves to be posted again. Fußballgott!!!

None of this pussystroking the ball and allowing it to bounce 5 or 6 times before bobbling into the bottom corner a la Gunther Netzer. Extra points for striking it hard, and for not being a professional footballer

ok
fellow Bundesliga / German football fans
I suppose it's time to take stock where we are with the emergence of the next generation of German super-talents
what has the endless conveyor belt thrown up in the first half of this season, me wonders ?
Gladbach fans would be right to RAVE about Reus
VfB Stuttgart fans will point to the genius of Rudy
Bavarian pulses will race when thinking about Müller and Badstuber
and Schalke under Magath seem to have opened their VERY OWN endless conveyor belt
who stood out in YOUR opinion ?

You forgot Sven Bender, you bellend.
Müller is a wee bit overrated already IMO (given that people already want him to get called up for the Mannschaft). He started of well but disappeared too often in the last matches.

Bender is another one
ditto
Hummels and Höwedes
Kroos is blossoming as well
Hunt , Marin.. at Werder
and Mainz seem to have the odd talent as well
do you think we could dominate world football in the forseeable future ?

Yes.
Honestly, I don't know. The talent is there to become a dominant force again, but unfortunately talent alone doesn't win titles.

I'll start getting worried when they show up at big clubs in the EPL, Serie A & LA Liga.
So far you're hardly exporting, you're only producing for your own market.

special mention to Kroos

what an irony it would be, if Bayer snatched the title from under Bayern's nose because they gave away their most famous mid-field talent
so that Ribery (and later Robben), could play

fantastic to see how well the young German talents are doing at Nuremberg

also interesting
Choupo-Moting was NEVER really given a chance by Jol at HSV
at Nuremberg he is now is scoring for fun
the YOUTH revolution has really , finally started in the BUndesliga
GOD knows why Bayern still rely so much on old , foreign devils
they should kick Demichilis out and get Hummels back
play Kroos instead of Ribery
Niedermeyer, their old Eigengewächs currently doing well at Stuttgart, instead of van Buyten
Müller instead of Robben
and Gomez instead of Olic

allez is creaming himself over the latest Bayern crop of the endless conveyor belt
(based on the games against Lyon)
Müller, Contento, Badstuber
but let's not forget that
HSV's AOGO is currently in talks with AC Milan
Jerome Boateng is off to Man City
and now
in a twist not even I had seen coming
INTER are chasing U-19 talent Stefan BELL from Mainz
)
Bargfrede at WErder could already succeed Frings in a YEAR
REUS at Gladbach just STOLE TWO points from Bayern in a barnstorming performance
and the most hotly anticipated NEW PLAYER at Bayern NEXT season
is KROOS
who had a SENSATIONAL season at Leverkusen and is now likely to celebrate his World Cup debut in a few weeks
I honestly cannot remember Germany ever having had such a purple patch of talents
and no doubt
we will dominate World Football for YEARS TO COME

the whole talent thing is getting OUT of CONTROL
everybody now knows about Özil, Khedira, Müller, , Badstuber, Kroos, Neuer...
the next "generation" is already in the pipeline though and selling for record amounts in the Bundesliga

there are now more TOP TALENTS in Germany than in Brazil and Argentina TOGETHER
