That you Dutchies have a conveyor belt of talent is nothing new, you actually have a well oiled youth setup for ages!

We Germans started to take youth education seriously after the EC 2000 disaster, just like the Frenchies did after the 1994 disaster, when they didn't even qualify for the WC. That's just 7 years ago!

And that's exactly why our younger players are better than our current generation. We finally have an excellent youth setup, with excellent coaches training high potentials at an early age.

This professional youth education was basically non-existant for decades, simply because it was not needed. No other country, not even Brazil, has so many people playing football for clubs on the amateur level. The DFB, our FA, basically relied on the huge numbers, and did nothing. We paid the price for it.

God BLESS Louis van Gaal , this man takes youth education seriously .. without him in the past 15 years a certain team would be nowhere , even Foppe de Haan said he is the reason why Jong Oranje won the past two U21 Euro Championships.

    Not at all Blut!!!

Holland is known for the delivery of top quality of football players since 1950!!

Its a brand like Rolex, many people try to copy it. But the original is still the best!!

When you look at Germany..the youth academy is a soulless conveyor belt of T-ford's.

The youth academy was good at some point though...they only decided not to use it for football Wink Ale

Haha....big words. All this "top quality talent" has won you one lousy EC in the last 50 years. We didn't even have a proper youth system, and won silverware galore. What do you think will happen when Germans take the education of their players seriously?

You know, when we do something, we do it right, 'gründlich' like we say, the German way, no cheap copying. Made in Germany Qualitätssigel. ok Ale

True...but lets be realistic!!! Football is about entertainment! About style and flair!! Kids dont pick Germany in Pro Evo, kids that play football on the street "are not Klose, Mattheus or Effenberg"

They are van Basten, Bergkamp, van Persie!!!!

You have won more prices...but imagine there was a country that had 83 million Dutchies!!! Shocked That would be a perfect mix of Quality and Quantity!!

If the DFB had any real heart for the German future of football, they should ask an Anschluss with Holland right now!!!

Its not to late the image of Germany CAN change....

    lol!

I know a ton of kids, including foreign kids, who want / wanted to be Schuster, Littbarski, Klinsmann, Rummenigge, Matthäus etc. pp.. I know a million professional footballers who try to be like Beckenbauer.

We are both, flair & style and success, not just 'brotlose Kunst' (mit viel Käse) like Holland.

Face it Fey, you should not have ridiculed us so badly after the 2000 & 2004 disaster. That was the worst thing you could have done. Germans need this 'negative energy' to motivate themselves, and we really had become lazy, spoiled couch potatoes, and all the malice thrown at us has only fired us up again. 83 million Germans want revenge, and they will get it!

That's what you'd like it to be. But you can be sure that everyone remembers every single one of our successes, because they hate us so much. And Germany played the best international matches of all times, matches every true football fan remembers for ages to come, matches that had everything that makes this sport so great.

    exactly my point

when Holland play, nobody really watches what they do AT ALL

people are just happy they can catch a glimpse of the ORANGE jersey

    biggest marketing success story ever

Germany, meanwhile , get under your skin; they make you happy, they make you angry , they make you CARE, and they make you pray for a certain outcome (whatever that may be)

if you think of Holland as a woman they would be Claudia Schiffer

pretty, but not nearly as pretty as people claim (with her square jaw), and frankly, DREADFULLY BORING

    Germany would be Angelina Jolie

possibly prettier than Claudia but no man really notices since he cannot help but wonder whether she's really only after his blood

    True, allthough I preferred the:

    Holland= Waffen SS+ Wehrmacht
    Germany= The Soviet army

But Otto, it is not too late!!!

First of all Beckenbauer must be shot, let Netzer become the Godfather of the German football.

Second change your shirts, a mixture of Orange and Yellow will do.

It must happen fast, otherwise the German football is doomed!!!

West Ham just offered 11 million pounds for 19 year old German supertalent Savio Nsereko

    http://www.sportbild.de/sportbild/generated/article/fussball/2009/01/20/11415300000.html

the lad plays for Brescia and has already rejected offers by Inter and Co

according to an official UEFA observer Nsereko was the best player at the last U-19 European Cup, which Germany , of course, won

    Ale

    --------------

as for Pourie, who just went from Liverpool to 1860 Munich (loaned by Schalke who have bought him), some German experts like Calmund rate him higher than Fischer, who was the top scorer at another youth World or European Cup recently

Stuttgart have now loaned Fischer out to Fürth, I think, so that the lad gets some valuable playing time Ale

    ------------------

Baumjohann is on his way to Bayern now

what a dreadful move for the "Jahrhunderttalent" (talent of the century) as Heynkes once called the teenager

he will be another Kroos and beg Rummenigge to get a transfer in a year or two

Luhukay tried to destroy him at Glabach by consigning him to the stands but the other Bundesliga clubs hate German talents too much to take the mega-talent for virtually next to nothing

Allofs and Co have been sleeping yet again

    -------------

good news on the Hummels front

Bayern did not give the teenager a minute of Bundesliga action

at Dortmund he immediately turned into a super-central defender

all he needed was the chance to show his stuff

Hummels, a true product of Bayern Munich now wants to stay put and it looks like the Bavarians are happy to sell, after all they still have Breno, who is just as old, NOT better but foreign

    -----------------

meanwhile, Gebhard , the genius playmaker of the U-19 European champs got VER LITTLE playing time at second league 1860

the club needs money and they sold the creative genius to Stuttgart, where they promised him playing time Ale

God knows why Allofs at Bremen failed to pounce yet again; half the Bundesliga was chasing the lad Yikes

so many mega talents, so much creativity amongst the U-21 ones, it's ridiculous

considering that Sammer is in the process of teaching these kids the importance of WINNING and CHARACTER, we will dominate European football within the next 5 to 15 years

and even Löw cannot stop this generation

Pourie is talented but too big a head, if he cant turn his arrogance as an inspiration he wont make it.
I think Fischer is a better potential.

Boumjohann is talented, so hopefully not ruining him, he has lost his way, Kroos isnt wasted, he is in his teens.

Nsereko should stay where he is, if your report is true.

Pourie gave an interview to az or tz the other day

    he sounds completely level-headed

maybe he lost it at Liverpool because he felt the Englanders were winding him up and he did not find it funny and reacted by becoming stand-offish

Calmund thinks Pourie has more potential than Fischer; I have no idea myself; we'll see; if one of them makes it, we will have a superstar

Baumjohann scored this wondergoal for Gladbach, where he ran his slalom across three-quarters of the pitch before scoring

in the next game Luhukay mysteriously only gave him less than 30 minutes to show his stuff, then he threw him out of the team Yikes

    a tragedy

at Bayern he will get ZERO playing time behind Ribery, Borowski, Kroos....

    another two wasted years

agree on Nsereko: he should stay in Italy for one or two more years

we have so many talents now though, that within the next two years the days of getting capped after only a few Bundesliga games (like Martin, Schäfer, Commper and co did) will be over soon

Özil is already noticing that the competition for places is getting VERY tough Ale

There are others too, that are talents, some real big talents but we need some of these guys to realise that talent to full potential.
I have heard the Pourie had problems with U19 setup too, I think he made the right choice leaving Liverpool as they have crowded themselves with young strikers like Dalle Valle, Eccelstone, Brouwer, Pacheco, Nemeth, N'Gog etc.

    the thing will talents is

THEY NEED TO GET PLAYING TIME

in the second league, first league, amateur league...: I don't care

most of our lads just waste away on the bench though

because German managers rate EXPERIENCE over youthful vigour and foreigners over Germans

    Kroos is the best example

    here comes another prediction

FELIX Kroos will become bigger in the Bundesliga and the Mannschaft than his Bayern-brother

Felix is actually playing in Rostock, his older brother is not in Munich

    --------------

also watch out for the Bender brothers who are brilliant

Lars is getting chased by Bayer Leverkusen Ale

Lars seems to be better then Sven anyway, there are interesting to keep an eye out.
There are alot of them, but potentials at the moment, and you are right, these guys need playing time there is Holtby,Sakutu-Pasu,Gebhart,Howedes among others you havent mentioned who are closer to the big time and need playing time(on top of my head, I am not saying there arent getting it, all I am saying is they need it).

Höwedes just got a job offer from Juve, I think, but declined

didn't Kruska got to Bruges because Klopp just put the U-21 captain on the bench ?

being a talent is impossibly difficult in Germany

no matter how good you are, chances are you won't get playing time

I am not aware of any interest from Internazionale.

Nsereko is being followed closely by Napoli, who have made a huge success of Brescia talents like Hamsik and Santacroce in the recent past. I am also aware of the WH interest, coz of their sporting directors past in Brescia and Zola, not aware that an offer has been tabled. If its anywhere near the 11M you mention, then I am afraid that Brescia will accept. IMO he should stay at Brescia till the end of the season and gain from that experience. Brescia have quite a few exciting talents, and a history of nuturing them well.

    i don't get your question

why would Poldi not play at Cologne ?

they will even construct an entire club marketing strategy around him, probably appoint him as their captain immediately and strengthen the team just to do justice to Poldi's ambitions

the Kölner mayor, the Land PM, etc are all aching for a Poldi return

the lad is still one of the hottest strikers in the world

why would he not play ? Doh
