Pretty much as expected, bar flamini instead of Gilberto.

I guess Wenger is giving him a bit more time off, he will probably come on in the 2nd half.

Liverpool haven't been that impressive - Toress couldn't hit a barn door today.

Great Touch by Pennant to open up the play for Babel, leading to Voronin's goal.

Well we have won 2-0 away from home in a game where the opposition keeper was the clear MOTM

the first half hour was a dogfight and once we overcame that we created so many easy chances.. did spurs create one against sunderland Wink

I loved this performance today.. we would never have won that type of game last year

    pennant, torres, arbeloa, sissoko ok

No wonder you haven't won the title in 17 years if you agree that beating relegation candidates 0-2 is awesome. It should be par for the course.

Its exactly these type of wins which give us the chance to win the league...

I'm not raving over the performance, but the 3 points is critical.

You can gloss over your abysmal start to the season by saying 'but we played well' but at the end of the day the trophey goes to the team with the most points, and the stark fact is that we are picking up the points and you are not[/u]

I actually think today he beat his record for number of passes given away.

    It was at least 30.

I thought Torres's general play was decent but Pennet was awful. He dripples past one or two players and then instanly gives the ball away. Saying that he did have some nice one touch passes. Didn't see the 1st half but Babel was invisible until the second goal. Voronin looked lively and more skilful than the hard worker.

I was impressed with the teams passing and movement for the second goal but never saw any of it before that. So overall a deserved away win (without a gifted free-kick) but still not impressed with Liverpool's general performance. However a tough away win is still impressive.
