I am with Rez on this one. I think that was the defining phase in Rossi's career... and now he seems to be repeating that in La Liga, a league which I think suits his characteristics the most.

Lupoli made a mistake joining Fiorentina, coz there he is the 5th choice striker and may not get much action. Lupoli should have joined a smaller Serie A team like Rossi did.

Lupoli would have done better to sign for Derby in all honesty. He had a pretty good season there and was valued by the coach and his staff. If he was keen on Serie A though, Fiorentina was a bad move. He should have joined someone like Sampdoria: a club which is likely to stay up but also where he is likely to get some first team chances

Lupoli would have got around 2 mill max. Rossi went to Parma because it was his old team as much as anything else. He would have never signed for them on a long term basis. It was cheap, although some people thought it was to much because he never really got in out first team. But the buy back clause im thinking has to be for the same amount? If so then it's not a bad deal.
