In a sense, its quite good to go behind. That way, you usually have the morale advantage if you pull a goal back. Anyone remember this game last season Whistle

We've been running the midfield but you've been more productive on the counter especially with the long ball.

There's a difference between having more of the ball and actually controlling it. Hargreaves and Anderson have been great (against 3 midfielders) at stopping attacks through the centre.

Well, being one goal down should act as an incentive. It was better to concede now rather than with ten minutes to go

Very tight, which is to be expected.

There's a big problem with Rosicky and Eboue, neither are attacking their fullback and therefore allowing ManU to get more defensive cover.

Early kick offs are always a bit $h!t. Teams don't seem to have enough preperation time. Honestly couldn't tell you the last time I saw a decent game played at this time. Would have been better as a 5:30 kick off

I think we have played well, all the talk was about Fabregas but he is being upstaged by the wonderful Anderson. His passing and tackling have been brilliant, he just needs to cut out the card waving and rolling around, but he has just come from Portugal, so I am sure SAF will get him to cut it out of his game.

Ronaldo and Tevez have been pretty poor, I would like Saha to come on later for Tevez.

Oh yeah that was Rooneys 9th goal in 8 games and his 6th goal in 7 games against Arsenal and some were suggesting he is getting worse.

Been a decent game so far, Arsenal will need to bring another striker on as they haven't really created anything in open play. Adebayor is too isolated and like Rooney he spends most of his time playing in the channels and there isn't anyone else in the penalty area.

I still think the game will end in a draw, but I hope we go for the second and dont sit back like p0-0l.

Agreed Rez, Tevez has been poor. So has Ronaldo but he's at least put in 2 quality crosses.

I'd leave it for another 20 minutes before bringing on Saha though.

Rosicky has been very disappointing since his return. Eboué just isn't a right winger. He'd be very good in a 3-5-2 but he's not particularly tricky or overly pacy so he's never going to be able to beat players week in week out. An area of the squad that could do with strengthening me thinks

It's a good tactic but you were lucky not to conceed the penalty and Rooney's shot wasn't going in but got a deflection. So yes luck has been involved.

I still believe Rooney has peaked as a player. I haven't seen anything of him this season to suggest the contrary. Deflected shot aside, he done very little. Don't get me wrong though, he's a top, top player.

Thought Anderson has had a good game, and Hleb was lively early on. Ronaldo has been very disappointing.

We are the away side, Arsenal are having lots of the ball but not doing that much with it, were as when united have the ball they are more incisive and direct.

Besides we are still leaving 3 players up field constantly which is 2 more than Arsenal.
