Ronaldo had a minor rooney moment at the end there. No need for that yellow card man! you are costing some of us fantasy points ffs.

Easy win should have been the usual 4-0 though Sad

Lawrie Sanchez's comments after the Liverpool game:

"It wasn't working for them. That is why they brought on three substitutes. One at £25m, one at £11m and one at £5m. There should be cap on the price of players you can bring on, maybe no more than £20m of players.

    lol!
Can't decide if it's bitterness or just tongue in cheek.

Nugent goes close with a deflected shot that came off the inside of the post. This has been very entertaining for a 0-0.

Just want to add my comments about the Brum derby
good game fast and end to end , Brum played well But Aston Villa perhaps deserved it in the end ,Agbonlahor saving a goal at one end and putting it in the other was good , funny to see Ridgewell scoring though.

Another to thing to add is when Ronaldo just came to PL people 606(remember that) used to call him poor man Ashley Young (was that you Pierre) and I can see why they have a similarity in style (though different strengths).

There was one just before that went out for a throw in. I have argued in real life with many man utd fans on him, they all dont rate him, but now i have had enough myself. He just lacks a lot compare to Anderson, and Hargreaves brings a lot to the table. Carrick is slow, usually passes backwards, his forward passes are often high and almost aimless <Ale>

Great result for us today, Pompey are a very good team and been on fire recently so to go to their ground and hold them is a brilliant result. Ricky Dunne was brilliant at the back once again and Ireland had one of his best games in a long while. All that seems lacking is a top class striker, although i feel sorry for Bianchi cos he has the ability he just needs to be given a chance.

Our back 5 must be the youngest in the EPL (Hart 20, Corluka 21, Richards 19, Dunne 28 and Garrido 22) and it looks very strong. If you take out the Chelsea and Fulham games we have conceeded 4 in 11 games.

Joe Hart is looking a class keeper and he is still so very young, future England Number 1 no doubt.

Did you really think we dominated BB midfield with Anderson and Hargreaves both somehow playing the roles of grafters mostly , Anderson looked hurried and Hargreaves can break it up well , do you think for once we were controlling the tempo like we do.

The tempo didn't matter, we were in control creating numerous chances and oppitunitys. I prefer all that energy these two provide. How can you beat a team that's techincally better than you, faster than you, got more energy and stamina than you....you cannot eventually you will just drop and not be able to match them. He still has an important role to play, but he is not first choice even with ginger out <Ale>
