All over. All four English teams through. Well done Liverpool. Inter were very unlucky with refereeing decisions, but they failed to take their chances today, and over the two legs failed to impress.

I thought the first half was quite good in terms of intensity imo and up untill the sending off it was better but after the goal it was boring. and i think he was talking both games.

In all fairness, Inter have a lot of blame to share for this defeat apart from their bad luck with decisions in both the legs. We have already discussed at length how the first leg performance was. But seems like they were again lacking when playing at home. Some of the notable areas were:

1. Poor set pieces. Pathetic delivery again & again & that too in a match of this stature. Seemed like no one from Inter knew how to take free kicks (Ibra balooned 3 & so did Chivu)

2. Finishing was suspect. Crespo would have been a better bet in the second half at least. Ibra has proved again & again that he is not a big game player

3. Mancini should have brought in Jiminez or Figo immediately in the second half as someone needed to build the play unlike Viera & Cambiasso who are good at breaking only. Poor coaching at this level.

Inter should've stepped up to the occasion when they knew it was liverpool they were playing & chasing a defecit. All in all they made it very easy to finish the tie for Liverpool in this game. With a healthy points difference in the home league it was only but expected from Inter to concentrate more on the CL, where they are known to choke year after year

Torres as we all expected scored a brilliant goal. Good to see Liverpool continue their European form. I think Mascha & Carragher had a decent game too.

Bad luck to Inter for the decisions against them & congratulations to Liverpool for another fantastic win

I hate the guy, i also rate him. He is a bit like a poor version of Tomasson, without the big game attitude. But has the same problems with scoring easy goals but can also score brilliant ones.

Good game until the sending off. It was a poor tackle so I'm not sure why gray kept moaning about it.

Inter had a few chances to make it interesting. Thankfully we didn't even have to get out of second gear to make it through

That torres goal must have felt like a dagger you to your heart. You can't even use the 'away' or 'big team' excuses anymore.

Those two matches have done Inter's players irreparable harm
