Re: Inter vs Liverpool discussion thread!!
Unlucky again, the amount of games Inter have played with 10 men this season is just not funny.Calidad wrote:You've got to laugh. Never a red. Two innocuous challenges. Yet again refs deprive us of another good game.
While some of it is down to bad luck, most of the blame is Inter's... Burdisso had no need to do either of the two challenges... he is a nut, and we have too many of those.... Materazzi, Vieira, Ibra, burdisso - these guys need to be disciplined. Alm ost all our reds have been harsh, but thats mostly down to the reputations these 4 players carry - they know that the refree is not going to give them the benefit of doubt, they should be more careful. Specially when they already have a card! burdisso and materazzi need to be flogged!! It is very clear in my mind that we are going out of CL only coz of these 2 idiots, no disrespect for Liverpool.
Game over, there is no way Inter can come back from here. I hope Inter fight till the end, and try and stay with the game... but right now, Liverpool are more likely to score.

I would rate that under different circumstances.
Funny, if the decisions had been the other way round, we'd have the "Italians cheat" lobby out in force

They are tied 4th in the EPL with Pool. The longer Pool stays in the CL, the more chance Everton has of playing CL next season.Murray wrote:De Guzman wrote:Good news for Everton.

f@ck this is annoying. i hate when the ref fucks up a game and now it has happened two times for inter.this year was down to bad luck imo and not the normal choking inter as it said.

For once Gray said something fairly interesting earlier. Out of Ibrahimovich's 20 league goals, 9 have been penalties and only 1 goal has been against a team in the top 6 (that being a penalty itself).

It's true. Even if it's in the 80th minute. a 1-0 with 10 minutes to go will see Liverpool panic and anything could happen. Wont be surprised to see this go to extra time.
Inter cant create chances, their midfield is poor compared to the Liverpool on. 0-0 is most likely, or Kuyt on a counter 0-1.
Could have been Kuyt though
Inter created f@ck all with 11 men, allthough Babel could have gotten a red card.

I rate Zlatan to an extent, but it's funny the same people who knock Henry and Ronaldo and maybe a few others even Torres for being supposedly flat track bullies love Zlatan and rate him as a genius.

PS. Henry and C Ronaldo have taken huge stick for being 'flat track bullies'. Hell even Lampard has too, so why make an exception for Ibra?

The red card changed everything. But you were right still apart from thinking it could have possibly been Kuyt, he would find a way to miss an open goal. Worst player on the pitch

Re: Inter vs Liverpool discussion thread!!
Thats a very silly comment - Ibra's main role is the build up play which creates stuff for us - trying to measure that in goal/assist stats only is pointless. He has been brilliant for us in the first half of the season, even against top teams. His main role is not to score goals, that is Cruz/Crespo's job description.S4P wrote:For once Gray said something fairly interesting earlier. For the neutrals it's disappointing how the game has turned out in the 2nd half. An inter goal in the 1st 10mins with 11 v 11 would have made it a cracking match to watch.
Anyway, i'm pleased pool are through. Congrats to all pool fans here

Another great chance wasted by Ibrahimovic. Poor effort and he is immediately replaced by Suazo.
