Gerrard has scored 13 times this season.
By his standards, indeed cr@p.
Hasn't been his best by any standards, but still , alongside Torres has helped pull Liverpool out of the 'mire enough times to prove his value.
Incomparably better than Ballack

You don't hactually believe that.

I've always said his best position is as the attacking player in a midfield 3.

When you consider Dolly Parton appears to believe Saha is better than Rooney, I'd say in this bizarre parrallel reality, this comment shouldn't be so hard to believe.
I base it on the fact that whatever anyone thinks about Stevie G in terms of international performances, he has played and won everything there is to win in Club football, other than the Premiership.
In terms of a big game player, few can say they played/scored and won a UEFA cup, FA cup, Super Cup, Champions League and Carling Cup final
On form, he is one of the best impact players out there; irrespective of his known weaknesses or lack of apparent footballing intelligence.
He can be an irresistable force at times.
13 goals this season, and being deemed a failure says it all

This isn't about what Dolly Parton thinks Bernd; you're a bright guy and we all know what Gerrard's strengths and weaknesses are.
Equally, you know your stuff in football well enough to see why people would consider Ballack a more complete midfielder than Gerrard.
Especially as what people call a "CM".

I, probably, have not posted ANYTHING about Gerrard since way before the World Cup
obviously, the WC made him look distinctly average
since then he was even worse in the EC qualifiers
he acted as captain for England where his complete lack of leadership was once again exposed, as said by many of us on here with regard to his "heroic CL performance" against Milan
ever since then, people have stopped talking and raving about Gerrard
so the question is above is HONEST and HEARTFELT
does anybody still rate the lad
