Spurs have made really hard work of this game....Slavia must be kicking themselves for playing so badly in the first half.
After a few good games there are signs Spurs are going back to earlier erratic form, first half at Derby and tonight.

Prague would have taken 1-2 at half time, they'd probably have taken 0-2, but now they'll be wondering if they missed their chance.

No idea how King was on the bench, why not give him a run out and take him off if he looks tired.

Ramos took the wrong striker off IMO, Berbatov looked class while Keane was on the pitch, Bent Darren looks like an awful player - Kuyt > Bent Darren Ale

Should've battered them. But decent score nonetheless. Should be a formality in our home tie.

2nd half we were sluggish, but definetly deserved to win.

The only way a Middlesbrough player is going to be made into a star is if we set one alight and fire him into space.

Yeah, but when talking about Atletico, the phrases "on paper", or "in theory", or "they should...", or "they will probably..." never apply.

I saw the games, I was at the games...Bayern played in third gear for most of the game. No they didn't take it seriously, I wish they had, but they did enough. Same as with the Bolton game. Bayern knew they would still do enough to top the group, and they did.

You seem to suggest that Bayern played at their best, and are actually at the same level as Aberdeen and Bolton.

Hence the reason I can't take what you are saying seriously.

I am afraid I am not saying they are at the same level,I am saying they are OVERRATED as favourites to win the UEFA Cup.Aberdeen matched them yesterday, thats different from saying they are on the same level.
Anyway,I haven't seen a convincing performance frm Bayern in the UEFA this season,so what I am saying is they need to improve a lot to win it.

I will be on this thread all the way through the competition, and will gladly apologise to you if Bayern go on to win the competition. If you say Bayern are purposely underperforming in every UEFA game,I will not disagree with you,but the question for me is....How much more have they got in reserve?...you think plenty,I am not so sure.Lets see,but without the insults.

I haven't followed every Bayern match this season, but I know when they played Braga they didn't look at all superior to them... Bayern did create a simple goal which showed their class (at times) but had there been a winner Braga would have justly walked away with max points.
