So its only really Shuster and Laudrup. both times if understand correctly there was problems with management.

Yes! I don't know about Schuster (I was two when that happened) but Laudrup left because he had truoble with Cruijff.

It is quite surprising to see so many players cross from one Milan to the other. Seedorf, Vieiri, Crespo, etc.

Between Madrid and Barca it doesn't happen that much. Figo, Ronaldo, Eto'o, Laudrup, and Luis Enrique are a few exceptions. Of the direct transfers between both teams, barely any of them have really been "sales". Luis Enrique and Saviola were both free transfers and Figo's contract clause was bought off by Perez.

Btw, that ape Eto'o showed once again that he's a worthless piece of Cr@p when he got an intentional yellow last night to miss el clasico. Deco did the same thing. Of course, Eto'o knew that a "Eto'o, Cabron, saluda al Campeon!" was coming, but it was disgraceful nevertheless. Shows how much Barcelona players care about their own team, when they intentionally miss out on the one game that can give back Barca just a bit of honor this season.

Samuel Eto'o has denied deliberately picking up a booking in order to miss el Clásico on Wednesday in case there was a chance that Barça would have to perform the welcoming ceremony for the new champions.

The Cameroonian striker joined Deco in being ruled out of the game after both received yellow cards against Valencia and will now not have to welcome Los Merengues on to the pitch in the Bernabéu.

Madrid won the title on Sunday evening and it is traditional for their next opponents to line up and applaud them on to the pitch, something that Eto'o may have found difficult to swallow.

After leaving the club as a youngster, Eto'o has shown that he has little time for Madrid, but insists that he would have taken part in the ceremony if he had been able to.

"I did not know that if I was booked I would miss the game on Wednesday," he said. "I did not deserve it anyway and am angry that I cannot play in the game.

"It is always a great occasion and I did not want to miss it. I hope that they will look at it and take the card away."

Deco echoed his team-mate's sentiment by stating that he was unhappy about missing the game in Madrid, but accepted that there was little that could be done

I am very angry at their actions too, esp. because the cards weren't even poor tackles, but stupidity, ignoring for a moment that it didn't matter if Valencia scored 1 or 2 goals.

If the cards get rescinded (knowing the Spanish FA they probably will, just to add to the 'morbo' of the clasico), those two better put in the best performances of their life.

Yeh, Inter always seemed to end up on the wrong side of these deals. I remember they got Guly aswell and he became total shite at Inter. Helveg aswell. Milan havn't been too smart recently though, they got Vieri and Favalli who were both clearly past it (in the latter's case, he was never that good anyway).

Barça squad: Valdés, Pinto, Puyol, Xavi, Messi, Henry, Márquez, Touré Yayá, Abidal, Zambrotta, Thuram, Gudjohnsen, Sylvinho, Ezquerro, Edmílson, Oleguer, Bojan y Giovani.

So that means a starting 11 of Valdes, Zambrotta, Marquez, Puyol, Abidal, Toure, Xavi, Gudjohnsen, Henry, Bojan, Messi

The only other possibility is a midfield of Marquez-Toure-Xavi with Thuram coming in at CB. Whatever it is, I don't like the potential lineups with both Deco and Iniesta out. Midfield is not good enough.

Heinze's yellow card against Osasuna has been retracted so he will be able to play against Barcelona. Menos mal, it would be an absolute disaster to Marcelo marking Messi. Yikes

Well, relatively-speaking. There isn't anyone who doesn't have problems with Messi. Obviously he is slow but I disagree with your other two arguements. Heinze is at least not going to be caught out of position, he will be clever enough to make a professional foul when necessary.

I dont really care much for who we are up against. at home we should attack. I would much prefer Marcelo on the left. Heinze showed in the weekend that he can make silly mistakes just like Marcelo has at times. also i hope we move Heinze to centre so Ramos can play as right back. having both Torres and Heinze on the full back positions would be very bad for our attack.

Marca are going hyper - every headline has the word "pasillo" somewhere, and they have also promised to include a large sized full colour photo of the pasillo with tomorrow's edition...today there is already a (badly done) mockup Doh

Meanwhile, Laporta is indulging in his own stupidity by publicly saying Barça could win 5-0 Doh

To be honest, SPORT are talking about the pasillo just as much but from the point of view of condemning the players, coaches, directors.

I think the exact same way. I would prefer Marcelo to start in order for Ramos to play RB, where he's been much more effective this season. Torres has looked as dodgy as Marcelo defensively this season and he offers nothing in attack, unlike Marcelo.

And to Marcelo's credit, he may be out of position a lot of the time, but like with Roberto Carlos, players have a tough time going past him due to his space. I don't think Messi will be able to dribble Marcelo so easily. Torres on the other hand... Erm

Also, does anybody know when the last time Barcelona or Madrid did the double over each other? If we win tomorrow Schuster would accomplish something Madrid hasn't been able to do for at least 20 years or longer. Did Barcelona manage this during the Cruiyff era? I reallly don't remember seeing this happened since I started watching football but I could be wrong.

No....Barcelona beat us twice in 97/98 I think....2-3 in the Bernabeu when that c*nt Giovanni scored the winner and then 3-0 in the Camp Nou.

I think that was the last time.
