He is a good player and Marca claim we can get him for 10m. but if there is one thing we don't need, it's another mediapunta. Sneijder can not play deeper, he was very ineffective playing like that last season. If we wanted to have another attacking midfielder we should have kept Granero.

I think a lot of this depends on whether Schuster plays 4-3-3 next season. If he does, then getting VDV will not necessarily mean overcrowding. And we must admit that Sneijder/VDV/Ruud were a great combination in the Euro, and they could reproduce that with us.

You said two things : Sneijder working more than VDV is like saying Guti works more than Kuyt....

I don't think there's much difference between VDV's and Sneijder's shooting, only difference is that Sneijder (like Lampard) takes a shot at goal every opportunity he gets, while VDV has more eye (and ability) to play it to teammates.
