Kuyt scores more goals then Forehead and im sure he has more assists as well Very Happy

But still Madrid, the best club of the country that became EC winner, even without her best player (Raul seleccion) is buying only players from a country that didnt win the EC...and its not even buying the best ones (RVP, Kuyt, Bruins)

    Cristiano Ronaldo to Demand Transfer!
    by Zahi Sahli (Columnist)1 comments30 readsJULY 31, 2008

Cristiano Ronaldo will confront Sir Alex Ferguson and demand a transfer next Tuesday, according to reports.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Ronaldo's message to Madrid read: "It's ok. Next week, I'll fix everything. I'll go to Manchester and tell them my only desire is to play for Real Madrid and that the decision is non-negotiable."

Sir Alex Ferguson stated earlier in the summer that Ronaldo will not be leaving United but Ferguson could be forced to let go of Ronaldo if the Portuguese winger demands a transfer away from Old Trafford.

Mate, I'm not saying Cristiano won't leave, I'm just saying that (let's see if in the third attempt you understand what I'm trying to say) YOU WON'T GET 100M POUNDS.

No, but IM saying that what we should DEMAND - and if RM really want him (which i believe they do) they WILL pay! ok

Man Chester wont get £100m Laugh if they don't sell him now or in January he can 'resign' from United at the end of next season and leave for less than £20m. It just depends if the difference between Madrid's offer and Ronaldo's buyout clause is worth keeping him for one more season.

Chances are he wont play again for United, but wont move to Madrid before January.

Anyone watching the game? Looks like we got some physically imposing defence out there. haha. Their African winger caused a lot of trouble though. The rustiness will be lost by match practice. We will get better.

So is Dani Parejo going to QPR or not? I saw he played today and I don't think I ever saw an official announcement on the RM website. Also, I was on the QPR website and couldn't find any news. Would love it if he stayed.

Parejo looked good when he came on. As did Robinho. As did the RB that came on. I thought Baptista, Saviola & Raul were poor today. Salgado caught got for pace defensively, but was decent going forward.

As for the Parejo loan move, I haven't really seen him play before, but a loan move isn't a bad idea, because let's be honest the Madrid management won't put him in front of Sneijder, Gago, VDV, Diarra, Guti, De La Red, Javi Garcia. QPR is a strange move, but if it works out well for him, playing in a more physical environment could be a huge positive in shaping him as player (he obviously is already technically good)

It's just that in the headlines of Marca yesterday they quoted Schuster as being upset about the Parejo loan. Obviously this is from one of their "inside" sources so... Whistle but for a moment I thought maybe there had been a change in decision.

From where I was watching I agree that Parejo looked pretty good, and Robinho looked good and class apart from all others in style. Also, Javi Garcia did relatively well as CB. I thouht Baptista was really poor and hope he'll get his form back soon. I have a bit of concern with Sneidjer that his good form in Euro 2008 might make him think he is better than he is. It is only a preseason macth against a lower league team. I'll be slightly more telling tomorrow against Arsenal, though the team will no where near the 100% first choice, considering the absentees and fitness level. I hope Iker and Romos will play as well as De la Red gets some minutes, too.

This is super news. hopefully Pepe is ready for the season start because it perhaps mean that Pepe+Garay will be the starting Cbs since Cannavaro will still be recovering. i dont think it will take Garay long before overtaking Henize as the third Cb. preferable Garay will slowy take over for Cannavaro over the season.

Parejo plays the same position as Granero as the AM allthough i gues he could play behind a striker but always as the playmaker. i saw him a bit in the u-19s and he has quite good vision. problem for him is that if we get VDV there wont be room for him in the future. that is why i would prefer to keep Parejo instead of VDV.

Yes VDV will definitely be going to Madrid now. Bit of a pointless tackle from Diaby really.

Thought Arsenal outplayed Madrid today, but again rarely threatened the goal (bit like last season). Baptista was particularly poor again. His second touch is almost always a tackle, and he struggles to find team mates with his passes. Saviola was also shocking. Raul was anonymous. The defence in general wasn't too bad considering it was pretty much a second string, but the midfield created very little for the forwards.
