Bookmakers make money from betting, and they don't gamble. It's all mathematically set up so they always win except when there is the ocassional freak result or match-fixing.

That's bollocks yet another thing you wish to contribute to like you have some knowledge on when you know fuck all.

OK so you have no point, are not able to explain things especially when you're wrong, and generally lack any memory or ability to understand anything. You should have just said that in the first place, saved us all some time.

Now that Gallas is injured until the May, Escude is struglling with Sevilla France won't have a decent CB. Time to call Mexes, but I don't think Domenech will do that.
Nasri has to be called as well, he's been playing great lately.

Don't know what to think about this list:

    Goalkeeper: Good

C.D: He's taking a big risk and I think this might go against him. Gallas is injured and Squillaci is shit. I would have taken Boumsong/Mexes insteat of Squilla. Planus is a little surprise but he deserves to be there.

Midfielders: Great there is Diaby, sucks that Nasri is not there though.

Forward: Gignac did absolutaly fuk all this year, Benzema deserves more than him to go. Benzema took a risk to go to Madrid. He should have gone to Man Utd to play more and have a better coach but he this was his dream to go there. The dream was finally a nightmare.

I though Domenech was intending to list a squad of twenty-three, instead he came out with thirty. It's pointless speculating which players will be cut, you never quite know with Domenech.

Valbuena is uncapped, and Ben Arfa has been on the bench quite recently so I don't quite understand the omission of Nasri either.

Everyone knows he's dump, his list is weird and useless like him. Actually I can't wait for the after world cup, when there will be a new coach. I don't think this team will go far at all. Domenech should have thought for the long term. He should have put Nasri and Benzema... If there was a decent coach the team would certainly look like that: Lloris-Evra-Mexes-Gallas-Sagna-Flamini-Toulalan-Ribery-Gourcuff-Malouda-Anelka. Subs: Henry, Nasri, Benzema, etc. But Domenech don't take the players playing in Serie A, certainly because he's never digested the defeat in 2006.

Post by EM Seleção e Selecção Wed May 12, 2010 4:28 pm

Veteran midfielder Patrick Vieira has criticised France coach Raymond Domenech's announcement of the World Cup squad - choosing not to pick up the phone.

The 33-year old only found out he wasn't going to South Africa when Domenech announced his 30-man preliminary squad on live television yesterday. He had hoped a loan move to Manchester City from Inter had rejuvenated his chance of making the trip.

Speaking to Canal + Sport, Vieira said: "As the national team coach had sporting criterions, I can accept the decision without any problems.

"However, I didn't receive any phone call with him for six months, even if I always had a good relationship with him, even when he was in trouble.

"Considering my number of caps [107] and years in the French team, I would have liked more frankness, a phone call.

"Now I have turned the French team's page. I would have preferred him to tell me, 'You don't have the right level anymore, there are young players better than you'. Mourinho did it at Inter, and I accepted it.

"Discovering it at the last moment, in front of the TV, that tactlessness, lack of class, which is what affected me the most. But that won't erase all the beautiful years I spent in blue. Will I finish my career? No. I am sure I won't stop my footballing career."

Domenech also left out Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri and Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. He earlier said it had been a very difficult decision to leave Vieira out.

Domenech said: "Patrick Vieira, it is the most delicate choice. We talked with Pat, we tried to plan for the World Cup. It has been a wrench. It is a real moment of emotion. It was difficult considering the whole season."

Vieira has no place at the WC unfortunately.

Benzema should have been in ahead of Cisse ffs, I don't understand why you wouldn't take him, obviously he was never going to make it in his first season at Madrid, it doesn't change the fact that he's still got a hell of a lot of potential and could win you a football match.

The problem with Benzema is that he is a c**t. Apparently his behavior was shit during the last two games with France so this might have an impact on Dumbenech decision.

Cisse had a great year for Panatina, he was the top scorer with 28 goals so he kind of deserve to be there. I would have personaly chosen both Benzema, Cisse and not Govou.

Difficult to argue I know, but I side with (Pierre's, I think) argument that Ronaldo gets far too much criticism for his personality (a lot of the way he acts is understandable in his position) and far too little for his style of play...
