kas wrote:I don't think Milan are publicly traded, are they?
The sponsorship is a good point though...Kaka's an Adidas player (their biggest one along with Messi) and Milan are an Adidas club.

Not gloating just stating the facts, but what does messi being from barcelona have to do with anything?.

If they meet Messi's release clause, what would Barca do?
Like Messiah said, release clauses apparently only apply in the same country.

TM wrote:Yeah, it's a pity Messi was poached from Argentina. And that Real Madrid youth set up were stupid enought to let Iniesta go.

Anyway,
What's the latest on Kaka
The paper rumours seem to change every day! The latest is that its all just Berlusconi playing some sort of twisted game!

He was with Real's youth set up, his parents werent happy that the youth players were kept near a red light district of Madrid. So they took him to Barcelona.
Go read up lad.

Er, no. He was *approached* by Madrid, but because of the reason you mentioned above, his parents turned it down and picked Barça instead.

I've already tried looking for the article where I read about it, but couldn't find it. If I see it again I'll be sure to post it
And I'd hardly call Graham Hunter one of Spain's most knowledgeable writers. He's not even the most knowledgeable English-writing writer on Spanish football.
