Re: Winter Transfer Rumours
Valencia have admitted that they would be prepared to part with David Villa should their valuation of the player be matched.
The Spanish outfit are reluctant to offload their star striker, but accept that every player has his price.
With a host of Europe's top clubs believed to be sniffing around the Spain international, Los Che may see their resolve tested during the January transfer window.
It is not known what price Valencia have slapped on Villa, or his much sought-after team-mate David Silva, but the club have made it clear that it would take a sizeable approach to force them into a sale.
"Whatever offer comes in we will have to study it although the idea is not to have to sell David Villa or David Silva," said Valencia's sporting vice-president Fernando Gomez Colomer.
"It would have to be an exorbitant offer."
Stability
Valencia may ultimately decide to cash in on their prized assets as they look to bring financial stability back to the Mestalla.
The club were on the verge of meltdown last season and remain heavily in debt despite a tightening of the purse strings.
"We will fight to give the club the economic stability that it needs," said the club's president Vicente Soriano.
"Right now that is the most important thing - more than any kind of sporting success."
Valencia have fought off interest in Villa from Liverpool and Real Madrid in the past, while Manchester City made an audacious transfer deadline day approach during the summer.
Silva, meanwhile, has featured on Manchester United's radar in the past, with the Red Devils coming close to landing their man last year.

The important thing. It does not say that we will sell. It has to be very silly money. Also Bancaixa has accepted €40m until the end of the season, so we don't have to sell yet. By the way €35m is not exorbitant, nor is 40m nor 50. Furthermore Villa's agent recently said Villa doesn't want to move. If we are still financially screwed in summer this may change, but no reason to sell now as that will give up on season. Without some success i.e. at least Europe (CL) next year there can't be financial stability. Soriano et al know this.

I don't believe Carboni has ever played for Real Madrid. Mijatovic has though and he started the rivalry between Real Madrid and Valencia. since Valencia has been a bitch towards us both in the case of Mendieta and Ayalar. So who do we send to make a deal with Valencia for their best player on the last day of the transfer window....you guesed it.EMP wrote:Super Madrid wrote:Or that Barcelona won't send a former player who was the source of the problems between the clubs negotiating as the one to get the deal done which will rip off the former club yet again.kas wrote:Well don't forget that Valencia's financial troubles worsened a bit since the summer. He bought out his contract with us to play for you. He is hated, but Carboni was involved in this shit of trying to arrange Villas transfer to you. He wasn't Villa's agent and he wasn't acting for Valencia, so if not you, who the f@ck was he working for. Either way his is now a c**t and you can expect the same treatment as Mijatovic gets if you use him again. By the way di Stefano is still loved in Valencia as he was one of our greatest coaches. Amazing the clowns who run your club don't try to mend fences with him rather then the hijo de puta. Next you'll hire Koeman to try to try to negotiate with us for you.

Re: Winter Transfer Rumours
There are reports in Italy that Inter are lining up a sensational swoop for Sampdoria star man Antonio Cassano.
The Italian champions are six points clear at the top of Serie A, but their attacking line hasn't always convinced.
With Brazilian enigma Adriano still showing a lack of commitment to the
cause, there have been reports that the Nerazzurri are looking for a
replacement.
Inter have approached Genoa in a bid to sign 12-goal ace Diego Milito, but they have been told he isn't for sale.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Beneamata are now considering a bumper bid for fiery marksman Cassano.
Sampdoria are determined to keep hold of the Bari native and Inter may have to table an offer of around £15m.
There are suggestions that Mario Balotelli may be offered as a
bargaining chip as the young gun has failed to impress Jose Mourinho.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the two clubs have already begun
provisional negotiations and that President Massimo Moratti has
suggested the transfer to Mourinho.
Many expect Cassano to wear the Juventus shirt after he becomes a free agent in 2010.

No chance of this happening... we need a CF to partner Ibra, not a support striker. Cassano at Inter would at best be a Ibra back-up. So whats the point for either party??
I can see cassano going to Juve to replace DP when he retires.

Maradona Tells Aguero: Sign For Inter
The coach is pushing Aguero towards the San Siro and he could tell Jose Mourinho to sign the Atleti man...
Argentina coach Diego Maradona is urging Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero to sign for Italian Champions Inter.
The former Napoli legend will be watching the Nerazzurri in action later tonight as they clash with Genoa in the Coppa Italia.
Maradona will be watching his Argentinian stars while he is at San Siro. As well as this, the coach could tell Jose Mourinho and Massimo Moratti to sign the Rojiblancos hit-man.
"Advice for Aguero? I would tell him to run towards Inter," Maradona told Il Corriere Dello Sport. "I can imagine the partnership he would make with [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic."
With a host of Argentina players eyeing a call up, Maradona has told the Inter contigent to keep their heads down and earn a place in his side.
"Walter Samuel is an important player and he is also on my list," added the coach. "Every player has to have the same motivations to get into the squad.
"Those players who do well will be rewarded, like [Mauro] Zarate and [Diego] Milito for example."
The Nerazzurri have been interested in Aguero previously, but his €50 million price tag has scuppered any deal from taking place.
Salvatore Landolina, Goal.com
He's also told Tevez to join Inter. Is he scouting for them or what?

He could be the leader in defence they haven't had since Ayalar retired. but then again with the way Argentina play currently it would be better for quicker Cbs. however if they were to revert to the 3-5-2 then he would do fine.BoBo Vieri 32 wrote:Interesting what he says about Samuel.

it's BS. The only reason this rumour is coming out is because Mourinho put Jenas in his fantasy team in the summer and Tottenham are interested in several Inter players (apparantly).

Re: Winter Transfer Rumours
Valencia are set to bring César Sánchez back to La Liga after agreeing a deal for the goalkeeper with Tottenham Hotspur.
Marca reports that all that is left now is for the veteran to take a medical this evening, and then the signing can be completed.
No details have yet been released about the cost of the deal, but it is unlikely to be very expensive for Valencia.
Unai Emery had already identified the former Real Zaragoza man as the potential target to replace Renan, who is injured for two months, and now it seems he has got his man.
César should have no problem settling in at Valencia, and he will be competing with Guaita for the number one jersey, at least until Renan is fit again.
The 37-year-old is certainly an experienced goalkeeper, having played nine seasons with Valladolid and five with Real Madrid before moving on to Real Zaragoza.
There he played over 100 matches in three years, but his move to White Hart Lane did not work out, and now he finds himself back in Spain after less than a season away.

Lyon want Oliveira from Zaragoza as a replacement for Fred, who is talking to Palmeiras and Fluminense about a move.
