Crying or Very sad really need a response

Complete striker who has no real weaknesses who scores all types of goals from everywhere.

He can play as target man but also has the dribbling abilities to play as poacher. He scores and assists; is tall and pacy, two-footed, a good header of the ball and can score from close and long range. Can't really say anything negative about him; he looks like the real deal.

But before you get too excited; he recently said he intends to stay in Wolfsburg for another season if the club were offering him a heavy pay rise, which apparently they are willing to do. Regarding his love for Milan he said, that despite being a life-long admirer of the club he feels Seria A may not be the best environment for him and that he prefers England as his future destination.

    Danke Ale

Where do you see his strengths then? Is he more the attacking-minded sort of full-back that tends to neglect his defensive duties; or rather solid defensively but not outstanding in going forward?

More like the second type, for as much as we Dutchies do that that is Wink

Kaiser Franz: "There are two options: Either Ribéry extents his contract or we give him the permission to leave."

    http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/bayern/2009/06/08/franz-beckenbauer-fordert/neuer-vertrag-fuer-franck-ribery-oder-freigabe.html

I expect Ribéry to leave now. He won't extent with Bayern, and forcing him to stay will inevitably upset the whole team; no player is bigger than the club. Bild claims Real will have to pay €60m plus x (x being one or two of their Dutchies).

And Real need to hurry up a bit. Hoeneß will go on vacation in four days. Smile

    EDIT

Only problem: Sneijder intends to stay with Real and doesn't want to join Bayern. Erm

11.32 Uhr: Wesley Sneijder will nicht weg!

Rummenigge has said that Real, Chelsea and Man Utd are interested in Ribery and we will sell only at a high price and he has a contract till 2011 etc etc.

Is it me or are Bayern wanting to get good/huge money for him and getting a bit desperate, if he doesnt go this summer, surely next summer his price would be half of what Bayern could get.

I would keep him. Rummenigge is right, you dont buy players to sell them for more. You buy them to make your squad stronger.

If we get 40 millions next year, its still a good deal, havin one of the top players playing for your club and still get money from him afterward. He is worth the 20-25 millions less for playing a year more.

And i wouldnt be so sure to get that much less, there will still be three or four clubs battling for him then.

They arent strengthening that much are they, ok Ribery is a marquee player but that player needs a good team, what is the point if he playing with Lell and Ottl.

If they were strengthening with some ambition then yes Ribery would be the difference maker.

ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger is in talks with Stuttgart midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger.

The Gunners manager wants to add experience to his side and the former Aston Villa star fits the bill.

Hitzlsperger, 27, is out of contract next year but Stuttgart will do a deal at around £5million.

Yesterday in SunSport Cesc Fabregas called for Wenger to buy a ball-winner in midfield. Hitz fits the bill.

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/2483289/Hitz-may-fit-the-bill-for-Wenger.html

Wegen mir kann der Wenger den Hitz gegen Fabregas tauschen. Dann zahlen wir auch noch 5 Mio drauf..

Was 6 Mio für Hitz wir verhandeln ab 15 Mio aufwärts.

    And, my favourite:

I doubt Allofs even considers selling Özil. He is supposed to be their creative focal point after the departure of Diego. It would be insane to let him go as well.

With regard to Özil the question is whether he extends his contract at Bremen or not. A few weeks ago he said in an interview that he would like to do that, but unfortunately nothing happened since then.

If he decides not to extend his contract, then we might sell him even this year, should we get a very good offer. Next year we would have to sell him anyway.

I would like to keep him in Bremen though.

If he's unwilling to extend his contract then sell the little troublemaker. Like you said, you will never again get so much money for him like this summer. I guess next year he resp. his agents will bring up article 17 FIFA law and cause even more trouble...

And after all overhyped Fronkenstein is far from being a Diego. You can pretty well live without him in your team.

Ribery always had a problem of attitude and htis is not likely to change. If he stays at Bayern then he might have matured a bit. But the problem for Bayern is that it's Zidane trying to lure him and that might upset him mentaly and make him think he's a diva.

Bayern are a bit i the same position as Lyon, they have several clubs willing to put the money for one of their player. If I were them I would sell and make as much as they can to strenghten the team.

Nah, he's been played by Bayern and his agent (a trick big clubs often use) : first Bayern and the player reached an agreement, without contacting the club. Now the player has big expectations and this will help putting pressure on the "selling" club => if they won't reach a deal they'll have an angry and unmotivated player.

Ajax is pulling this crap on us all the time, they'll probably try it again with Berg Erm

We've had several players *refusing* to play for us any more, because they "deserved" a transfer no matter if the buying club met the asking price or not...

One of them hardly played a game for Ajax, yet when AS Roma (Shocked) came for him (Bruna Silva, Uruguayan RB) Ajax in turn refused to let him go....so now he's rotting on the bench Laugh

Tell me what you want, Axe, but Pranjic is an ungrateful c**t for me.

If a player does want to put some pressure on his club to sell him, than he can say things like "I have made a decision. I would like to move to xy this summer, and I hope the clubs can find an agreement", but not more.

What you can't do is saying things like "Another year at Heerenveen and I would have gone mad" or "I might be injured more often if I have to stay" etc. pp.
