Meant to say DLP if someone is wondering.

That is definitely a question like Bane(Ivanovic), this isnt the smartest move for him.
For Chelsea, they got him for 5 m Euros max so that makes it a good deal.

They definitely need someone who can sit deep and play ball, specially in an Ancelotti's system, Mikel isnt the one so maybe Matic can be given a chance.

If Zola can get Carlton Cole to perform the way he does, I think it'll easily pay for itself.

Collins on verge of signing for Stoke. I heard a £5m fee mentioned somewhere but that sounds a lot of money for him imo.
Wenger should bench RVP v Burnley. He & Bikey do not get along at all. Bikey did two disgraceful challenges on RVP in a pre WC friendly; thereafter RVP retaliated with no ball near. Should have been 3 dark red cards.

Anyway guess he's a useful signing for them like you say.

We've brought Greening in on a season long loan. I think it is the last year of his contract and we were offering £4million allegedly earlier making this a very clever deal.

That's odd, why would West Brom loan a player whose contract is running out scratch

Surely it would make sense to give in and just let him leave for whatever Fulham are offering.

They also loaned Paul Robinson to Bolton for a season...I'm assuming that's because they would have put in a condition where he has to return if they get promoted. Not sure how it would work with Greening, whose contract is running out.

Just looking at Burnley's deals this summer, Coyle has done veyr well spending around £5m he has spent it very wisely. If he can just add a couple more they could have enough to stay up and if they do i think it would be the greatest survival story ever not just cos of their size but cos of how little they hae spent.

I'd be amazed if that happens. He's played everyone of Valencia's games in pre-season including Valencia's Europa qualifer the other night. Besides that, including him they only have 2 fit midfielders. Why would Valencia loan him, nothing to gain really.

    lol!

That's probably about a day of oil money gone so Mr Mansour probably doesn't even care. He may not even have to sign the blank chequebook.

Double what Lescott is worth and City will have spent a fortune to assemble a decent but not great defence but they want him so are prepared to be raped in every crevice to get him
