I think we will all agree that Goater will be Goater with the value they have got from these transfers

I still find the Toure signing a bit odd but Lescott is a good player. Not worth that much but he's better than Dunne surely.
Are Man City buying Riquelme too?

I don't know Paddy. 8m? As things stand we only have 2 CBs though, so if we lost him we would just be left with Colo the clown. Alot of players seem to be thriving in the championship, like they have found their level, Colo is not one of them.

Supposedly Espanyol and Zaragoza are interested in Coloccini. He is a disaster.

The funny thing is every time he runs on the pitch he touches the turf, draws a cross on his chest, then looks up at the sky. God clearly hates him.

Lescott it's now in TOP 3 of the most expensive defenders of all time, only behind Rio and Alves I believe
Still, we could get this money month ago, if we wouldn't stick with this stupid "Lescott is not for sale" position. What happened was easy to predict and now we are in serious trouble after 2 losses and 7 days until transfer window closes.

Fee is about £22-24m depending on which papers you read. I have always said this is ridiculous amoutn of money for him. Id say he is the same quality as Johnson and he went to Liverpool for £18m (which i think is over pricing him). At least we can afford it, money is not a problem for us and the main thing is that he will improve us at the back.

Everton have signed Russia midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov from Lokomotiv Moscow for an undisclosed fee.
Good on them. May just put him into my Fantasy team.

'Arguably'.
Arguably he's the best centre back at Man City.
Arguably he's england's 6th choice centre back.

He's possibly the best goalscoring CB in the league. But he was the 2nd best CB at Everton..

Moyes seems to be very good at training players to attack set pieces. Not sure if he'll be as prolific at Man citeh.

Lescott seems to score most of his goals poaching from scrambles/rebounds then actually heading them in himself. Maybe Hughes will play him upfront, MON definitely would.

Happy with the signing but not happy with the fee...its ridiculous, but its only money and we can afford it.
Funny to see everyone having a go at us again like they have done with every signing we have made this summer everyone loves to get their digs in but we will see.
