I will say, however, that Kaka' was declining over the last two seasons. He is not the player he once was. Ronaldo, on the other hand, is a player that could have given United more.

I think that Kaka's poorer performances were also due to a lack of motivation, which I think he will get back when he goes to Real Madrid. He will also get more space with the ball in Spain, so we could witness Kaka taking his game to another level like Zizou did in his first 3 seasons in Spain.

The injuries are more of a concern for me than lack of motivation. I don't think you get to be a top footballer without it and so while he may have stagnated a couple of years, I would think a new challenge would resurrect any motivation he might have lost.
