Can we play this team every week please

    5-0

Second for nemeth so it is

how are you watching it? Got a lovely stream?

Half time here at Wembley, Givanni dos Satos is on the pitch doing the half-time entertainment with some keep-ups and ting.

Just saw the whole game, thank God for free Liverpool channel Smile

Thought we looked really really good in the second half, albeit against a poor side.

    To sum up:

-Voronin has decent link up play but a terrible finish on him, he needs to stay in the box at all times if he wants to score any goals.

-Benayoun is a quality player and the second most clever player after Torres IMO. I'd like to see him starting a lot of games for us this season but still not sure where he would slot in.

-Kuyt was quality today and is growing more confident every game. His form last season was awesome and I hope he continues it this season! Fey was right all along.

    - Pacheco and Nemeth are both very talented forwards that need more experience and more first team games. Pacheco reminds me of Garcia a lot, quite pacy, good touch but sometimes his decision making lets him down. Still though I think he can be a quality player in the future, whether it's at Liverpool or not I don't know.

    - Babel looked good for once. He's taking his man on a lot more in this pre-season, still remains to be seen whether he can do it when the serious stuff starts.

    - Degen is shite.

    Liverpool agrees bank debt deal

Liverpool Football Club - which owes two banks £350m - has renegotiated its debt with the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Club owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett are believed to have extended the £290m RBS debt for another year, but agreed to pay back £60m.

Negotiations between RBS, Wachovia and the owners have been prolonged, with fears the banks may call in the loans.

Latest accounts show Kop Holdings, the parent company of the Anfield club, lost £42.6m in the year to August 2008.

Annual figures showed that interest payments accounted for £36.5m of those losses.

    New players

The club has continued to spend on new players as it looks to try and win the top prizes in the game, with Portsmouth defender Glen Johnson joining in a £17.5m move.

But the owners have failed to find the money to build the club's new stadium, with preliminary work on the Stanley Park venture halting during last season.

In June, Mr Gillett agreed to sell one of his major assets - his 80% stake in the NHL's Montreal Canadiens ice hockey team - in a deal which would ease financial pressures at the Premier League club.

Meanwhile Mr Hicks has been reportedly looking to sell off elements of his own sporting empire - which includes Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers and the NHL's Dallas Stars.

Liverpool was put on the market last year with a reported asking price of about £500m, but no sale was finalised.

Don't know whether this is good or bad. Find it (financial stuff) all boring to be honest.

Andrea Dossena's prospective Anfield exit is a step closer after Liverpool accepted an offer from Napoli, according to the player's agent.

Dossena is believed to be keen on a return to Seria A after struggling to make an impact in England following his move from Udinese last summer.

Reports suggest Napoli's offer is in the region of 5million euros (£4.3m), a significant loss on a player boss Rafael Benitez paid 10million euros for just twelve months ago.

Representatives of the Italy international have suggested the offer has been accepted and Dossena is expected to complete the move later this week.

"Liverpool have accepted (Napoli chairman) Aurelio De Laurentiis' offer," his agent told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"It's now just a matter of days. The two clubs are in agreement, Liverpool accepted Napoli's offer but I can't say any more.

"With regards to Andrea there are no problems, it's only a matter of days. As soon as Napoli call us, we will finalise it."

Dossena is likely to find himself even more surplus to requirements following the arrival of Glen Johnson on Merseyside, but with Alvaro Arbeloa closing in on a move to Real Madrid, Benitez may find his full-back options limited next season.

Not too bothered if he stays or goes. He'll be 3rd choice behind Insua and Aurellio but with Aurellio's injury record it could leave us a little short if Insua gets injured/suspended. That's why I think it's stupid if we sell Arbeloa. Johnson could play left back if absolutely necessary but he can't if we have to play a shit or inexperienced right back.

If we sell Dossena and Arbeloa we could find ourselves in a spot of bother at times this season in all honesty.

that really is a naughty loss on an investment after just 12 months, I'd be happier to see him go out on loan, or even stay for another season. He looks better in midfield than at fullback, but if he goes then we really can't lose Arbeloa.

Well you have Johnson, who will be #1 choice for RB, you just need a back up. Which Arbeloa would have been this season, along with playing other defensive positions when required.

Degen is unreliable. The beauty of Arbeloa is that he would have been 2nd choice RB, 2nd choice LB and 3rd choice CB. £4.5m doesn't reflect his value to us, although it gives a good indication of how highly Madrid rate him.
