King Louis FUCKED up
YET again
losing two points against lowly ranked Gladbach
now level on points with Schalke
the title race is yet again WIDE OPEN
and van Quaal is 200% to blame for it
when van Buyten was limping around during the game
van Gaal just ignored him
this whole charade went on for about EIGHT minutes
DURING that period
Gladbach SCORED their dream-goal-combo
by the way
Reus >>> Robben
in the end, the guy who SAVED the Nederlander's butt
was
Klose
with a DREAM-header
Klose, of course, has been confined to the bench for most of the season
what an irony that the POINT now won by the player deemed useless by van Gaal, could be the DECIDER for the title race
and make the Dutchie a HERO
--------
against Lyon, van Gaal was merely LUCKY
a) USELESS Ribery got a red
b) Robben got a Lampard-like-DEFLECTION
c) the Lyon manager was a MORON, playing with only ONE SINGLE striker and NOT changing tactics , once Bayern had lost a man
you CANNOT get luckier than that
as hase pointed out somewhere else
van Gaal now has ONLY ONE POINT more than Klinsi at the same stage
Klinsi was the worst manager in the history of Bayern Munich
YET
van Gaal only has point more
despite having spent some a FORTUNE on new signings
-------------
van Gaal potentially reaching the FINAL of the CL
despite being UTTERLY CLUELESS
reminds me of
a) Benitez winning the CL
despite being UTTERLY CLUELESS
b) Wenger reaching the Final of the CL
despite being UTTERLY CLUELESS
+
c) Morinho winning the CL with Porto
despite being UTTERLY CLUELESS
think about it

True Bayern have benefited from some astonishing luck to make it to the final but this is slowly rivalling the Torres thread for humiliating poor old Otto.

Bloody well done Otto
don't celebrate TOO EARLY, fey
for
I have a HUNCH
IF Schalke BEAT Werder this weekend
they will clinch the TITLE
+
Werder are also favourites to win the Cup Final
the CL should go to Bayern though
they were LUCKY
Bayern are HUGE favourites to beat Inter
whereas Barca would have been HUGE favourites to beat Bayern
in other words
IF Barca still turn the Inter tie around and meet Bayern in the final
van QUAL will suffer the GRANDEST HUMILIATION in the history of German
and maybe
GLOBAL football
alongside Bayer Leverkusen losing THREE Cups on the final metres
you heard it here first

Otto..really mon ami, I aint a van Gaal fan at all...the stuff I chanted to him when he was the coach of them. But thats the past. The present is a highly respected German oracle that seems always right.
But anyway Bayern remain German, and nobody loses more finals then the Germans(except the French but they dont count) So I fully expect them to do a Leverkussen.
But..you cant take their Audi-cup away

van Gaal
Schweinsteiger
Lahm
Müller (did you like his "see you later Domenico" moment? check YouTube if you don't know what I mean)
Diego Armando Contento
"Müller must definitely NOT go to the World Cup, that would be a disgrace and a 'desaster'"
Dammit, I'd take Contento right now. Only good reason not to is van Gaal wouldn't be there to get the best out of them...

Re: When will Bayern sack van Gaal ?
Van Gaal has to get credit for bringing back the possession game to München, his tactical nous and motivation skills, for sticking to his concept and getting rewarded for it in the long run. The Bayern board have to get credit for showing patience and not sacking him when things looked far worse last autumn.
However, the guy who has to get most of the credit for promoting a number of gifted young players to the team is former Bayern youth coach, now Van Gaal assistant Hermann Gerland. He actually 'formed' most of them during the most crucial stages of their young careers, and influenced Van Gaal's decisions in this regard considerably.

van Gaal is NOT a great motivator AT ALL, blut
hence
MANY games where Bayern looked COMPLETELY disinterested
ie, only last weekend against Gladbach
the reason why "some players" ARE motivated is that they are picked ahead of more established "names"
which is why they work their socks off
usually, this applies to young players who OWE everything to van Gaal
as a motivator per se, van Gaal is crap
as for his tactical style, it's mostly "old German"
all the BACK-PASSES, and SIDEWAYS-passes, which he trains in practice ENDLESSLY
far more so than the finishing
remind me of Germany in the 80s and 90s
it was EFFECTIVE then
it's effective NOW
Klinsi tried to get rid of it and introduce ATTRACTIVE (vertical) football
and failed
Leverkusen and Werder also try to embrace a more attractive, high-risk football
and usually fail
considering that the current top two Bundesliga sides (Bayern and Schalke) play CAUTIOUS football
I wonder , whether others will start to imitate them
it brings success, but it's nothing for the eye (see also Inter)
what an irony though, that it would take a DUTCHIE to bring back RESULT-ORIENTED , DEFENSIVE
BACK-PASS
FOOTBALL

Re: When will Bayern sack van Gaal ?
interesting stat
this is how the Bundesliga table would look like , if games
only lasted
65 minutes
1. Dortmund
2. Schalke
3. Leverkusen
4. Bayern
5. HSV
6. Bremen
7. Stuttgart
8. Gladbach
http://sportbild.bild.de/SPORT/bundesliga/2010/04/29/65-minuten-tabelle/dortmund-meister-bayern-nur-vierter.html
well, I guess, this can also be taken as evidence in defense of
van Gaal
at least, his team does not COME EARLY

YES! We are champions! Wir sind die Besten, nicht allein von Munchen but auch von Bremen und von Gelsenkirchen!
And that with such a flawed squad, kudo's for van Gaal. The fact that he is the first Dutchman to win the Bundesliga means nothing though, just make one coach Bayern and he will win the league.

Köln had a formidable side during the time Michels was in charge (1980-1984), they were a real Bundesliga heavyweight back then. It was Gladbach, Bayern, HSV and Köln back then, Bayern's dominance in the league started later actually.

Thats not the correct conclusion. Bundesliga is still more interesting than Madrid vs Barca or the dominance of Lyon this decade.

Of course it's easier to win the league with Bayern these days than any other Bundesliga side, simply because Bayern have the best, most expensive squad and can outspend everyone else. Still, let us not forget that Bayern hadn't even been leaders in the league for a very long time before the end of this season, going by their standards. The league is very competitive these days, basically every team can beat the other.
Would it have been more impressive if Van Gaal had managed to win the league with a different club? Sure. But still, being the first Dutchie to win the league means that he has already made history.
Knowing that there actuually are quite a lot of similarities between the Dutch and German league (even if you Dutchies will never admit it), Dutch managers usually speaking the language well etc., I am rather surprised that it took so long...

Re: When will Bayern sack van Gaal ?
Imo tactically both leagues idffer significantly. What's interesting is that van Gaal, of course helped by the players available to him, opted for the Dutchest tactics (compared to previous Dutch Budesliga managers).
Yesterday's 2nd goal was a beauty. That's what he's going for: high pace facilltated by high ball circulation, 1 touch. Only Rib & Rob are alllowed to run with the ball. Great off the ball movement, both offensive and defensive (pressing). Like others said before Mueller is such a van Gaal player.
