    Larsson ahead of Milner. Really?

I mean I know it might be hard to admit he's improved this season. But still..

N'Zogbia is in off the back of a couple of recent good games, and you pick Larsson over Lennon on the right.

Oh the ironing, that sentence makes me think it is THOU that is taking ones agenda to the grave!

You know most of Lennons goals and assists this season came in those 2 thrashings against Hull and Wigan. So much for being in the team on the back of a couple of games. <Ale>

You can make an arguement for both Lennon and N'Zogbia to be in the team I think. Personally though Milner and Malouda have shaded it in the wide midfield positions so far this season.

I think N'Zogbia has proven a lot of people wrong since his move to Wigan. His move went a little under the radar when it happened, but he's been far and away Wigan's best player this season. That may not be saying much, but I'm surprised teams like Liverpool and Villa haven't been sniffing around him.

I think he has. Esp. since he's moved to CM. If you saw the game vs Blackburn last week, he was running that game. Young's still getting decent amount of assists, although not been at his best this season. Milner's become more Barry's replacement - but with more goal threat.

It's not Milner's fault the likes of Young and the rest have underperformed this season.

He sure as hell has been directly responsible for keeping Villa in the hunt for 4th place. without him, I doubt they'd be in the position they are in at the moment.

Still not as good as Lennon though, hey Debaser Ale

Malouda? No chance. Very hit and miss if you ask the Chelsea fans - not even guaranteed starter.

N'Zogbia has been playing well. Happy to admit that. Also happy to admit I've watched him do stepovers and leave the ball behind himself on a number of occassions.

So long as Kimmy seems to believe that Lennon is only effective against the likes of Hull and Wigan - despite having quite famously arse-raped the best left back in the league (Patrice Evra if you're asking) on more than one occassion in his relatively short career to date - this flirting is never going to get past first base.

It's a clear sign of desperation when you start making things up. I stated a fact, the majority of his end product this season has come in two games. A FACT 0trick. For the record i think Lennon is having his best season so far, i've never said otherwise. <Ale>

You say this because Lennon gets the hype from the London media and N'Zogbia doesn't. So far it is looking like N'Zogbia will be the difference between relegation and staying up for Wigan, i see no reason why he shouldn't be given credit for that. If he keeps up his form i expect there to be plenty of interest in the summer. <Ale>

Not sure if you noticed, but Lennon is black too Tweeds.

N'Zogbia is French and black. Neither of which hindered Henry from being repeatedly called "the finest player" to have ever graced the EPL by the Media.

Charles is certainly one of Wigan's star performers, however I would not say he is single handedly responsible for keeping them up - they have some good players there, with Rodellega in particular being as important to their cause as the Zog.

Lennon isn't black, he's the same colour as a Chinaman's ballbag.

It's not a colour thing anyway, players at some clubs get hyped more than players at other clubs. That's the way it is. N'Zogbia is yet to play for a club that is in with the media, i'm sure he will someday though.

Henry was unignorable though onetrick. If someone scores 30 goals in the league its pretty noticeable. Especially with the style and pazzazz withi which Henry did it. He got over 20 assists in the 03/04 season as well I think.

Lennon is black, but not as black as N'Zogbia + he's not as French.

Sure, they got their moves and now they're getting recognition, well not so much Valencia as he is just seen as a poor replacement. If N'Zogbia has a similar 2nd half to the season i'm sure clubs will sniff around, if there's any money left in the league that is. <Ale>

Lennon's been out of this world and unplayable on occasions. I mean at times he's looked the best player in the league. While NZogbia has been very good but never that level.

Valencia is actually playing fantastic most games now i didn't rate him at first but he's deffo a top player.

So Newcastle aren't a club that "is in" with the media? As far as I remember when Newcastle were in the UEFA cup, channel 5 always followed their games at the expense of other English clubs, including Spurs in the 2006/07 campaign when we were both in it. I could only ever watch our games on ITV3 because Newcastle were channel 5's big draw.

I get your point with Wigan - they are an "unfashionable" club. But any Geordie complaining that Newcastle don't get the special treatment from the Media (compare how they are viewed as the "big" club from the North East over Sunderland and Boro) is suffering a self affliction complex to rival any scouser Ale

TV channels like to show Newcastle games because we have a big fanbase, it's normal. The papers certainly don't have anything positive to say, i don't know if their sales up here are poor or what. Newcastle are certainly one of the most hated clubs around the country and any article tends to reflect train of thought.

I could name a whole bunch of Newcastle players that are underappreciated outside of the City, i couldn't say the same for Spurs. <Ale>
