It's a good game, but I don't think it is along to Andriy Shevchenko and Ballack.

How ironic that last year Crouch always played for 90 minutes regardless of the fact that he never scored and now that he's scoring a lot for both Liverpool and England, he finds himself in the bench quite often.Cool

I think so he should play there for england instead of downing. and play lennon on the right.

Lennon's injured, and by the time he's fit so will Joe Cole. So Gerrard should stay put. ok

On today's performance I would have to agree.

Sounds though from the interview before the game that he's losing patience with being played here and there, as he ideally wants to play centre

Think he meant long term. Forgot about J.Cole though, he'd still need to start.

Gerrard = Liverpool's best player. But then maybe Im biased too Laughing
Kuyt looked good though, shame about hitting the bar. He's tailormade for the Prem.

Has Ballack even been in the game? Dont doubt his class, but he hasnt really done much since he joined Chelsea to enhance his reputation....

Drogba has been awesome, showing his Ivory Coast form ok

Borenitez lost Liverpool the game! He started with Bellamy and Kuyt while he had to start with Crouch+ one of the two others!!!!!

I'm sorry, but it's is absolute bollocks if you think Gerrard was our best player today.

For a creative midfielder he created nothing and his shots were way off target. Kuyt atleast created and went alot closer.

Gerrard and Pennant have pissed me off no end today.

I don't believe we're out of the title race, though I'm sure "neutral" (ahem) fans think we are. We have to pull our fucking finger out and get finishing though.

Because you were defending deep and you'd just taken off your 3rd centreback. He'd have been useless from the start, he usually is against Chelsea (in the league).

Agreed enitrely. I'd be more inclined to say someone like Kuyt played better than those 2.
