Gerrard wastes an opportunity to square it to Kuyt.

Does he have any vision at all if it isn't over 40+ yards?

I think he knew Kuyt was there but he seemed a bit annoyed with him for the back heel earlier so just shot.

It was actually a good chance but gerrad made it look like only a half chance.

You can't do anything about that. What a goal, hats off to Didier. Liverpool look very good IMO. Some of the passing up tops has been class, alot slicker than Chelsea's. Kuyt and Ballamy could become a great partnership this season. Shame Gerrard didn't square that for 1-1.

Announcer puts the blame on Reina. lol!

What a cocksucker! how about Carragher's amateurish defending on Drogba?

Carragher had a floater coming his way with plenty of time to think, decide, ANTICIPATE the play, but he's no AYALA we know. Carragher backs away 5 meters so Drogba scores his beauty. Announcer steps in "could Reina have done better"?

    Someone shoot that imbecile! lol!

The road to victory for Liverpool is in Pennant's boots. He should exploit Mr. overrated the way Giuly had him in CL final. <Ale>

This match has been absolute crap so far. Except for Drogba's goal and Kuyt there has been virtually no skill on display at all. Laughing

Agree with you on the announcer but thats pretty unfair on Carracgher.

Drogba is basically over 6ft of all musclke, very few defenders can win balls like that gainst him. Carragher did allright, he made drogbas first touch take him away from goal, he did better than Ooijer did a few eeks ago. No one could have expected Drogba to do. technically, its one of the hardest shots to pull off.

Bollocks. Compared to some of the stale displays these two have put on in the past, this has been a good game. I think there has been some very nice play from Liverpool in the forwards areas. Also, Lampard hasn't been bad, I have to admit. Shocked

this aint been a fairly not eventful game, barely any chances, and 80% of the play has been in the centre of the park

There are too many limited talented players like Essien, Sissoko, Lampard for the game to ever be any good between the two.

Fair play... it's a dodgy red. Definite booking, but a red is quite harsh. I don't think malice was intended.
