He's no less credible than the likes of Dawson and Baines. England fans are going to have to get used to seeing non super-duper stars. We have to look at the likes of O'Hara or play Barry in DM until his legs fall off.

He wasnt good enough for the spurs midfield ffs. Carrick may be failing at Man Utd but he is leagues infront of OHara. Likewise Hargreaves and people of this calibre even Barry. O'Hara might have been better choice next to Lampard due to energy and speed but not due to qualities.

Palacios is ahead of him at Spurs, England don't have a Palacios. You can't write a player off because they didn't make it at a super-rich club when he was 21/22.
Milner didn't make it at Newcastle, Dawson used to be a total joke, Carlton Cole failed at a few clubs until he found his feet at West Ham, not every player can succeed from day 1.
