Because Queiroz is an arse. He sees Pepe as a DM, therefore he called Ricardo Costa for Cb (when Carrico did a wonderful season this year), completely overlooked C Martins, H Viana and Moutinho. No natural substitute for Deco (that had a shocker against Cbo Verde)....
CQ is just an arroganr poor man Mourinho. At least one of them knows how to win trophies.

Even though no-one expects Brazil going out in the group stage, Portugal and Ivory Coast certainly aren't pushovers if they decide to show up.
North Korea aren't going to bother anyone, and Brazil will be the favourites in the matches against Portugal and Ivory Coast, however if both of them decide to show up it could get very very close.
Whoever draws or loses against North Korea is out. I'm not expecting Brazil to draw or lose against NK, so it depends on whether CRonaldo finds his shooting boots and IC giving everyone a hard time.

I'd say if the odds against Brazil are more than 30-1 its certainly worth a bet.

I dont see Brasil going out in the group stage. We have better players than I.C., but don't know about a better team, and i'm sure we do not have a better coach Laughing

As for those North Corean guys, i liked to see them play against Greece, but their only chance is one of the opponents decide not to play. (Could happen with my selecção Twisted Evil )

I agree with lampião007 on all he said except C.Martins. He is good but not that good and he can´t do 90min. Instead of him i would prefer Nuno Assis who also did a great season.

Indeed, N Assis is another name overlooked. Could mention also Amorin as a fringe player.

Martins with the right coaching could do wonders for any team. But depends a lot which side of the bed he wakes up.

What are the odds of Brasil continuing their 0-0 trend from qualification games against poor opponents and not winning against North Korea? Same goes for Ivory Coast - still remember them struggling against poor team in ACN, although Drogba against Koreans will have much more physical advantage, then against African team. I can see Portugal winning against N.Korea at least - Ronaldo will probably try at least 10 shots, one of them should beat opponet's goalie.

I'm more confident on a win against Brasil or IC than against NC. Our players seem to loose motivation if a team seems on paper less strong. I remember S.Corea and the USA in the asian WC.

I just saw goals conceded by North Korea against Greece - if they will keep defending set pieces like that, then they shouldn't bother taking a vacation from their army duties and just stay home. Brasil and Ivory Coast will destroy them that way easily.

Post by EM Seleção e Selecção Sat May 29, 2010 7:22 pm

Brazil's second day of training at their Randburg High School base didn't go to plan as sparks flew between Kaka and Felipe Melo following a rash challenge from the Juventus midfielder.

Estado de Sao Paulo reports the Juventus man went in hard on Kaka during a training match which left the Real Madrid man furious, so much so he stormed off the pitch, despite swift apologies from his team-mate.

Tension was high as fevered temperatures increased and it took the action of Brazil's staff and entourage to defuse the situation and restore tranquillity.

Kaka was not impressed, and clearly shaken up by the incident having returned to training following a recent injury.

He will not be playing in forthcoming friendlies against Zimbabwe and Tanzania on June 2 and 7 respectively.

I need to see footage of this first before I pass comment.
