And now we see Robinho summed up right there - goes round in circles with his stepovers, then falls over

Scrappy game. Gilberto grabs an IC player in the box during a free kick but as usual it goes unnoticed. Then a minute later, Drogba comes up with some theatrics to win a free kick off Lucio, who proceeds to lecture the ref for ages but somehow doesn't get a yellow card for it.
And now we see Robinho summed up right there - goes round in circles with his stepovers, then falls over

Brazil score with the first real chance of the game. Thrashed into the roof of the net at the near post. Brazil are going to be very hard to break down now.

Luis Fabiano makes a great run and an even better finish to break down the Ivory Coast defense. Let's see if Sven has taught them to attack as well.

Drogba is too busy falling over for them to mount an attack.

Would have been more interesting if IC scored first, i can't see them breaking brazil down now.

Interesting to see that Brazil are playing a very high 3 at the back when in possession, with Lucio pushing forward quite a bit as the "right-back".
Also Kaka seems to be operating a bit more in the right side today rather than the left like he usually does. Good move by Dunga IMO, it prevents him and Robinho getting into each other's space, and doesn't put too much burden on Maicon down the right.

Brazil are the side to beat this year. Nothing has changed for me, on the contrary.

They pundits in NL hit the nail on the head during half time. Ivory Coast have 3 ball winners in midfield.
Better try Kalou or whoever as attacking mid.

Great goal, otherwise a bit bland. Kaka, Elano and Robinho all been pretty shit, and IC don't seem to have anything in the final third.
Need IC to get a goal from somewhere, or Brazil will just get another and cruise.

Ivory Coast are completely uninspiring. Considering the players they have they disappoint time after time. Brazil are looking ominously strong.

Strong defence, extremely efficient, pace and tactical awareness. Dunga's Brazil = Italy 2.0. The team to beat.

Double hand ball and afterward you see the ref asking Fabiano and, of course, he says no no no.
Why is the ref laughing though? And how do you miss two such blatant hand balls within four seconds?
