Re: FC Barcelona - Campeones de España!
If the club were to get, Cesc for 40-50m euros and sell yaya and a few others our net spending for the summer would be pretty good for a club of our size
Villa: 40m
Cesc: 50m
Total 90
Out
Yaya: 30m
Cacere: 10m
Henry: 5m
Marquez: 5m
Henrique: 3m
Helb: 1
=54m
Total net: 36m
that would be a great summer, one wc player and a c**t and net spent should only be the the reason of 40-45m
if we sell yaya.

I find it hard to believe that you will get anything for Henry or Marquez. Especially if they go to US you'll basically have to give them away for free. Not sure why anyone would pay 10m for Caceres or 30m for Yaya who is quite clearly not wanted.

You can't charge a lot for a player you don't want unless there is a bidding war or its ManC. Therefore Yaya might go for 30M but I don't think the others would command the fee you've suggested.Jaime wrote:Messiah wrote:If the club were to get, Cesc for 40-50m euros and sell yaya and a few others our net spending for the summer would be pretty good for a club of our size

10m is the price juve said they are willing to pay for caceres, we want 12.
Yaya is wanted its just his agent that his a twat.

Re: FC Barcelona - Campeones de España!
I agree with the last bit but not when you say Yaya is wanted. He's the best player in the world in his position and is being benched for a weak, diving, wannabe. The stuff from Pep that Yaya is not disciplined enough is bullshit. Was he not disciplined enough last season? I don't think you can say an experienced 27 year old who has literally done it all, with the same team and coach, cannot follow the orders of the said coach. There's definitely something else in it, even if it as simple as fitness.Messiah wrote:10m is the price juve said they are willing to pay for caceres, we want 12.

I cant understand what it says but probably it has to do something with selling Xavi or?
As for Cesc, if his coming means that Yaya is going then im against it. If Yaya goes anyway, then ok, we can go for Cesc, but i want everything to remain as it is at the moment.
We have the defense, we have the midfield (assuming we stay free of long term injuries) and we have the best fucking attack in the world. What more can we wish for?
And not to forget, we have the best away kit the next season.
Go green!!!

The future of Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure continues to be the subject of much discussion, and the Ivorian's agent has now stoked the flames after he revealed that his client has almost made his mind up to leave.
With the likes of Xavi, Sergio Busquets and Seydou Keita ahead of Toure in Pep Guardiola's pecking order, Dmitri Seluk believes that the best move for all concerned is to allow the 27-year-old to leave for the Premier League.
"If Chelsea want Yaya and everyone wins with this deal, why not?" the agent told the Daily Mirror.
"This last season, Toure has not played regularly and Pep Guardiola has preferred Busquets or Keita instead of him.
"If he prefers Busquets and Keita, then the best thing for Toure is to leave for Chelsea. He has made up his mind 90 per cent to leave."
In addition to the new English champions, Toure has been linked with a transfer to Arsenal as part of a deal that would take Cesc Fabregas back to Catalunya. It has been reported that the midfielder was unwilling to make the move, but his representative insists that Toure is not digging his heels in over a transfer.
"He has a good salary here but he doesn't want to earn money here and fall asleep on the bench. Some players would accept that situation. Not him. If he leaves, Barca will then understand what they will lose."

I want Yaya out but not to Chelsea. Essien-Yaya-Mikel would be too scary a midfield to meet for anybody and imagine their strength at set pieces with Terry/Alex/Ivanovic/Mikel/Yaya/Drogba/Anelka.

CHAMPIONS
----------------------
Villa
I don't know if we'll win anything next season, but with him on the end of Xavi/Iniesta/Messi's passes, we'll score 200 goals in the process
And the tactical flexibility this signing offers to Pep is mind-boggling. I think we need to start moving away from the image of 4-3-3 being the standard Barça formation. We'll probably see it less and less in coming seasons, at least while Pep is around.
There's a football cliche that says "staying at the top is harder than getting there", and "if it ain't broke, you still need to fix it"...Pep is doing exactly that. By constantly rejuvenating the side in small ways, he's trying to ensure that teams don't find it too easy to figure Barça out.
----------------------
Don't need Cesc now, paying 30m plus for a youth team player is ridiculous. But if we ignore the money, he'd be an absolutely brilliant signing for his quality and versatility.
And it would lead to 13 or 14 players in the squad that are expecting to be first team starters. You need to keep a balance and have enough players who accept being 2nd string.
And it may mean Toure (whose agent is a highly irritating twat) leaving.
With Villa now on board, it's better to sign a couple of squad players (backup RB unless Henrique or Caceres don't get sold) and maybe a backup midfielder if the kids aren't renewed.
But if City or Chelsea or Juve are stupid enough to make a decent (ie. 35-40m) bid for Ibrahimovic, then Cesc becomes an interesting possibility again

I'm not the only one that doesn't want cesc , but as you said if ibra leaves(which he won't) it would then become interesting.
Due to the fact that its after the WC, we will have a few injures to our top players I'm sure,so if we get two top class players then we would be in good nick.

Also the arrival of cesc will not only block the progress of Thaigo and
JDS, but a host of young, talented and LOYAL midfielders, who have all
had the opportunity to leave the club at some point or another but have
remain loyal.
Rafa alcantara
Sergi Roberto
MartiRiverola
Did you know JDS, refuse to sign a new contract last weekend, because
he wants to see how will happen in the summer?.
Thaigo is also taking wait and see approach.
Is cesc worth losing an entire generation of midfielders?.
we probably won't see a midfielder breaking through until Pol calvet and
Quesada, legends that they both will be (seriously unfair to have
players of similar age playing against a team with those two in it.

Yes because they particularly thiago had the chance to leave along time a go and didn't unlike Cesc, and now they are seeing their loyalty betrayed by the club trying to sign someone who wasn't as patient as them.

I'm not sure whether they've been offered anything yet, considering the elections are coming up and the club is in administrative limbo. Laporta only cares about big name signings to ensure his legacy, not the other loose ends that should be tied up to ensure a smooth transition
That said, if they're really that loyal then there's no rush to sign them up, they're smart enough to realise the situation and will wait around till the new president is in place. If Messiah's previous post is accurate, then Jonathan is already doing that

Re: FC Barcelona - Campeones de España!
Sport has written an article regarding the future of 5 barca athletic players future, whose contracts are amount to be expired come 30th of june.
Its stated that the main reason for the hold up in each contract renewal is that they all want first team football, Txiki as already said he doesn't see any B team players being a permanent part of the senior team next season and will more train with them and play for the B team.
J.Dos santos: as already discussed, "rejected" and offer the club made and its taking a wait and see approach
Thiago: the key with him is a first team contract, talks are in progress.
Bartra: the club has been negiotating with him for months but can come to no agreement.
Gai: Pep thinks he has talent, but not yet ready for the first team,he is wanted by Chelsea and arsenal( guess who is is agent)
V.Vasquez: So much talent, so unlucky, he is the one with the best chance of making it into the first team on a permanent basis according to sport, if not he is off, but he should be playing first division football next season, so where.
If the B.atletic gets promoted they believe, V.Vasquez will stay, not so sure about the rest.
I think Gia is off and maybe Bartra too much competition for CB spots at barca right now, with some excellent prospects coming up the ranks.
I think JDS and Thiago might stay if pep speaks to them and let them understand, where he see them in his project.
V.Vasquez I think should be allowed to leave if we can't give him first team football, too good and too old to be playing B team football.
