He's given people chances (Ronaldinho, Pato, Elano) and it is up to them take it or not. He has preserved group harmony by kicking out malcontents. He is loyal to the players who have performed for him. For me the most noble thing he did was his willngness to look at players outside the big leagues. Offering players in places like Ukraine and Russia a chance to play for the national team. He appears to be quite a honourable man.

    Dunga ok ok
    Ale

I easily could see Ronaldinho's brother running his mouth after 1st game of the WC, if Ronaldinho would be benched or start from the bench. It could be like a potentially deadly disease - I don't understan all Dunga decisions when selecting players, but that one was actually one of the best.

I respect & like what Dunga is doing too, but I disagree re Dinho.

I don't think Dinho would ve had a big issue with a bench role, he knows he is no longer the star he used to be... Dinho could ve provided back up to Robinho & Kaka, two very ciritcal roles in Dunga's plan so Dinho would ve been a critical insurance policy. So IMO overall the pro's of taking Dinho outweigh the con's...coz Baptista is not really a proper Kaka/Robinho replacement!

Anyways, maybe Brasil will not need to use back ups to win this cup... Dunga has got most of his decisions right, build a very strong team, and deserves a lot of credit.

This will be the one game Dunga will forget his style and let Brazil play.

Portuguese defence should get really tested in this game.

elano (injured) fo daniel alves, kaká (suspended) for júlio baptista, and maybe juan won't play (yellow card, I think).

elano could play if it was necessary, but dunga decided to rest him for the second round.

with dunga in charge, be sure brazil will always play to win. if they will win, that's another thing.

and 1st place is much better IMO. spain will probably be 1st or 3rd. for them to be 2nd they must get a draw with chile and switzerland must get a draw or lose to honduras.

and though the quarters for the second is easier, the semis for the second is harder.

path for 1st IMO: switzerland - holland - uruguay

path for 2nd IMO: spain - paraguay - argentina

Spain can also go second if they win but Swiss win by a bigger margin.

Could just as well be 1st:Spain-Holland-Uruguay
    vs
    2nd:Swiss-Japan-England Very Happy

Queiroz has gone for his pussy 4-5-0 formation again. I don't understand why some coaches go all defensive against big opponents instead of just letting their team playing to its strengths.
