Fabianski has made too many mistakes in his recent past for me to be totally sure of him but he is definitely making the most of his chance. Whereas Szczesny has looked assured and composed every time I've seen him play (with few mistakes). His height and reflexes are also better. Just needs experience. Its good that Fabianski as genuine competition and hopefully the two Poles mean no more Almunia.

FT: Arsenal 2-1 Fulham. Game should have been beyond doubt after 30 mins, but as usual Arsenal leave their fans with hearts in their mouths for the remainder of the game.

    pale

Not a great performance by any means, but we win at home and like three weeks ago the other results have gone our way making it a very good weekend.

Yeah he is late. Actually he was great for 90 minutes, scoring goals and releasing through passes for L'OM in his last season. He regressed a bit in last two seasons. Maybe because of injuries and dressing room tussle with Gallas?

    He is late?

First season at Arsenal he finished with 7 goals and 5 assists, could be better - not exactly the worst stats though.

In his second season - Beanpole injured him Doh Took him a while to recover but the goal against Porto was obviously a standout ok He finished with 5 goals and 6 assists. Inconsistencies in terms of injury and from contributed to that.

This season already, he has 11 goals and 4 assists. All of this without ever being given a prolonged period of games in his favoured CAM position that Cesc occupies. What he has developed though is being more direct, making runs in behind the full-back and just being more decisive in his general open play.

He's more effective than flairy out wide, but his two goals today were a thing of beauty. I'd rather him in the middle but if he continues like he is, then you can't really argue with him being deployed out wide.

Player of the season so far - don't care if i'm being biased Ale

He was one of the guys you could gues would improve eventually but I just figured he would be better from his first season. He is really becoming a force now. Will be especially interesting to watch him in Cl.
