Beckford redeems himself after some horrible misses over the last few weeks with the leveller at Stamford Bridge.

Great save from Fabianski, a shot which I'm sure Almunia would have conceded.

He made a top class save in the first half as well. No.1 for the rest of the season.shazlx wrote:Great save from Fabianski, a shot which I'm sure Almunia would have conceded.

Fabianski has made too many mistakes in his recent past for me to be totally sure of him but he is definitely making the most of his chance. Whereas Szczesny has looked assured and composed every time I've seen him play (with few mistakes). His height and reflexes are also better. Just needs experience. Its good that Fabianski as genuine competition and hopefully the two Poles mean no more Almunia.Cesc Soler wrote:He made a top class save in the first half as well. FT: Arsenal 2-1 Fulham. Game should have been beyond doubt after 30 mins, but as usual Arsenal leave their fans with hearts in their mouths for the remainder of the game.
Not a great performance by any means, but we win at home and like three weeks ago the other results have gone our way making it a very good weekend.

I heard few sounds about Walcott > Nasri in this forum after Walmart's run of form earlier this season. Hope that imbecility is rested forever..
Sammy boy Haven't followed him all season. But both goals today are worth of ZZ's ball control.

To be fair though Fenomeno, you did say he was receeding at Arsenal a couple months back.

Yeah he is late. Actually he was great for 90 minutes, scoring goals and releasing through passes for L'OM in his last season. He regressed a bit in last two seasons. Maybe because of injuries and dressing room tussle with Gallas?

there's probably a German word for it, but it's funny that the first time Lampard has any sort of long term injury is the same season Chelsea choose not to renew Ballack's contract.

He is late?
First season at Arsenal he finished with 7 goals and 5 assists, could be better - not exactly the worst stats though.
In his second season - Beanpole injured him Took him a while to recover but the goal against Porto was obviously a standout He finished with 5 goals and 6 assists. Inconsistencies in terms of injury and from contributed to that.
This season already, he has 11 goals and 4 assists. All of this without ever being given a prolonged period of games in his favoured CAM position that Cesc occupies. What he has developed though is being more direct, making runs in behind the full-back and just being more decisive in his general open play.
He's more effective than flairy out wide, but his two goals today were a thing of beauty. I'd rather him in the middle but if he continues like he is, then you can't really argue with him being deployed out wide.
Player of the season so far - don't care if i'm being biased

He was one of the guys you could gues would improve eventually but I just figured he would be better from his first season. He is really becoming a force now. Will be especially interesting to watch him in Cl.Romford Pele wrote:He is late?

Lovely flick from Kompany that playmakers would be proud off. Very good techically, don't always see it though from central defence though.
