No, Feyenoord had to play at the same time...but we won our first away match in a year!
But when I was browsing the foreign scores and saw a motherfucking KUYT HATTRICK! I was even more happy and thought of you, and your face with a bit of Kuyt-Cum on the side of your mouth!
This week Chris told me that Kuyt was RUBBISH, which left me confounded. Kuyt, the big game player that he is, scored against every top team around..except for the most important one UTD! And now he scores his first hattrick! Against UTD ffs! Im wondering who will win a trophy first now, he or RVP!
Still..the thought of him and my most hated player in ages, getting along well...makes me a wee bit sick!

Not as harsh as Tyler and Coleman saying that a game with 6 goals conceded and full of errors was "a fitting tribute to Dean Richards"

United blank the media after Anfield loss
March 6, 2011
Manchester United failed to provide any post-match interviews after the 3-1 defeat at Liverpool on Sunday, with Sir Alex Ferguson and assistant Mike Phelan refusing to speak to the media.
Ferguson cancelled his pre-match briefing on Friday in protest at the coverage given to his post-match quotes at Chelsea on Tuesday that have landed him with an improper conduct charge, plus the furore that surrounded Wayne Rooney's elbowing of Wigan's James McCarthy last weekend.
In a pre-planned move, United also blanked the media Sunday. Ferguson did not speak to host broadcaster Sky Sports, either before or after his side's third Premier League defeat of the season.
Phelan, did not carry out his usual post-match engagements with the BBC, arranged due to Ferguson's long-standing feud with the organisation, while radio rights holders talkSPORT were also left without any comment from the visitors.
Should any of these organisations complain to the Premier League, the governing body will be forced to act, escalating the problem between Ferguson and the BBC, with the fines for his non-compliance still waiting to be made public.
And for the first time since 2005, even United's own television channel, MUTV, left a senior game without any reaction, which is an embarrassing situation in itself.
It is not yet known whether the media blackout will continue this week, ahead of United's FA Cup quarter-final with Arsenal, although discussions are bound to take place behind the scenes.
The only comments came via a club spokesman, who confirmed Nani will be assessed on Monday before the extent is known, and Rio Ferdinand, who was not even at Anfield, but offered an opinion via Twitter.
"Bad result today no excuses,'' the England skipper stated on the social networking site.

Is it true Matthew Jarvis is now the hottest prospect in Europe after his perfomance today? He owes Alan Hutton a huge slice of his next signing on fee. Can't wait for Kyle Walker to play for us next season.
@ pierre/Kimbo/Bernd - Dawson is comfortably our most overrated player. Both Assou-Ekotto and him were terrible in possession, constant pointless hoofing.
Massive ask for 4th now.

Whoa, hold on - I'd like to know who is overrating him? All I hear is what a donkey he is, when it simply isn't true IMO. That isn't overrating him, it's giving him some due credit. Granted, wasn't anywhere near a sterling performance from him yesterday, but our entire back 4 were once again pretty appalling. Let's see what happens against Milan, as Dawson was superb over in the San Siro in the 2nd half in particular.
And as for BAE - perfectly sums him up. He's very comfortable on the ball, but then his distribution stinks on a regular basis. A pipedream, but if I were Harry I'd target Baines this summer along with a centre forward. Although by the end of this season his value is going to be unaffordable.
In other news - congrats to Liverpool and Sloth from the Goonies for scoring a hat trick. Really, more teams should be beating this United side. They are pretty average. So average infact that Fergie has just signed up Carrick on a long term contract.

Lewis's deluded and arrogant rantings about Liverpool compared to other teams continue to be utterly cringeworthy; Aaron Lennon, is fucking shit. That is all.
You call me arrogant then say Lennon is shit. Are you mentally retarded? I Suppose you think Theo is suddenly amazing now after a few good displays mixed in with years of being mind-boggingly average.
If you took issue with me saying our team that finished second wasn't worse than your team now then let's go through it:
Almunia/Fabianksi/shezney (what ever the fuck he;s called)<<<<<<<<<<<< Reina
Sagna<<<<<<< Arbeloa
Squillaci<<<<<<< Carra
Djourou<<<<<<<<<<< Agger/Hyypia
Clichy-----------Aurelio(that season anyway)
Fabregas---------Gerrard (that season Gerrard was unbelievable)
Song<<<<<<<<<<< Mascherano
Wilshere<<<<<<<<<< Alonso
Nasri>>>>>>>> Kuyt
Walcott-------Benayoun----- (that season)
RVP----------Torres-------
Sorry am I dreaming or did LEWIS just call me mentally retarded?!?
As delighted as I was with Liverpool's excellent victory yesterday, I don't know what the relevance is of these bizarre, childish and deeply stupid "<<<<<<<" and ">>>>>>>>>" comparisons (I hope for your own sake you don't really believe all of them). I thought (or hoped) they had died a death long ago. That 2008–9 Liverpool team was indeed an excellent one which would have won the title if there was any justice.
The Walcott/Lennon comparison is a bit of fun, all relative, and I would have thought fairly obviously contained an element of banter – you can feel free to stay out of it.

Not sure why it is, but I have a feeling Baines - Bale combination wouldn't be as good as it sounds. I am not big fan of two left footed players on left side either.Noah and the Bale wrote:Deluded F*ck™ wrote:Is it true Matthew Jarvis is now the hottest prospect in Europe after his perfomance today? I really doubt Moyes will sell Baines though unless it's some ridiculous price like 15-20 million.
Spurs are better off going for Elokobi IMO, what a powerhouse the lad is and he can defend.

I don't think 15 milion would be a "ridiculous price" for player like Baines, 25 sounds more correct as ridiculous.Luis wrote:stinger wrote:Not sure why it is, but I have a feeling Baines - Bale combination wouldn't be as good as it sounds. Yeah 15 isn't too bad in today's market I suppose but I think Everton would be more inclined to sell towards the 20 mil mark and then you've got to ask the question could the money be better spent elsewhere. I think Spurs need to sign a centre back who isn't forever crocked or inconsistent as well as another striker and sell Crouch or Pav.

Yeah, but Everton would need to spend majority of this money to replace Baines, which makes no sense. Much better is to cash on Fellaini or Rodwell, as both of them don't really have a future together on the pitch. Not mentioning startign with selling Yobo, Heitinga, Yakubu and Bilyaletdinov which should raise around 20m pounds.Luis wrote:stinger wrote:I don't think 15 milion would be a "ridiculous price" for player like Baines, 25 sounds more correct as ridiculous.Luis wrote:stinger wrote:Not sure why it is, but I have a feeling Baines - Bale combination wouldn't be as good as it sounds. Why not? How can you be so sure? Do you even know what Rodwell's best position is yet at this stage? And come to think of it, what Fellaini's is? Are you not one of those Everton fans who thinks Fellaini is rather awesome? If not, why not? etc.

He's the worst footballing centre back in the squad. I prefer players who have consistent quality on the ball and the ability to cover, track, intercept and tackle without constantly having to do it on the stretch due to poor positioning and awareness. He's good at what he does, and I'd keep him in the squad but in my eyes he's overrated by the press and Bob the builder at the pub/cafe - as are Carragher, Terry, Vidic and most other do or die centre backs.
