Fuck the referee, 2 decisions stopping us from scoring!

No need for Wenger to start with Denilson, should have played Chamakh from the beginning.

You won't get relegated. Bolton are no pushovers. Plenty easier games to pick up points.

Both complete joke decisions, it's hard to fault the performance of the players (at the least the 2nd half) when you have that going against you.

Szczesny with a great stop to keep a point. Sorry to say but it had shades of some of our home games (Aston Villa + Middlesbrough) after Birmingham away in 2007/08 where we just couldn't get over the finishing line.

Cue the "March bottlers", "lack of backbone" comments by the media. Neutral

halfway through the 13 days that will define Arsenal's season, 2 competitions down just 2 to go. Why didn't Wanger sign a proper keeper and CB in January when he knew Flappyhandski and whatsisname were out long term?

    WHY?

It's easy to blame the ref and his assistant but that's only part of it. What about the other 75 minutes when you didn't create enough chances, and/or finish the ones that you did create? That's the players' - and indirectly Wenger's - fault.

The injuries have a big part to play too, because they weaken your team considerably and force the likes of Diaby to be played...every year we ask the same question - what the fuck does Wenger do in training that Arsenal suffer an injury crisis in Feb/Mar/Apr?

I do kinda blame Young, though it wasn't the worst penalty ever, Jussi simply guessed right. Still it was Young who won the penalty himself.

You may say Bolton are no pushovers, but did you just watch the game I watched? A complete nothing of a team who simply capitalized on awful defending from corners (even the 3rd came from us not properly clearing a corner). If we can find a way to lose that match, we can definitely get relegated.

1 game in the next month. Good job all the players are well rested Rolling Eyes

I didn't go to the game today because I had more entertaining and important things to do, so I can't offer many comments. It sounds pretty typical though. So many themes that reoccur year after year. We get to a key stage of the season and lose key players to injury out of nothing. We have games like today where we maybe lack a bit of fortune, or get a rough call against us and it's the difference between a closely fought win and a disappointing draw, but ultimately it comes down to something more than that, and it's that often intangible and indefinable difference between us and the teams who do win regularly - they just find a way to edge through these matches. A few people here have talked about signings and reinforcements, but I still think it is a mental edge and toughness that we're lacking more than a lack of quality on the pitch. The players we had on display today should still be enough to beat an out of form Sunderland at home. And this happens time and time again. Still, Man Utd have plenty of tough games ahead so it's not over as a contest - even if we do seem intent on throwing away our best opportunities to catch them.

    http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Steven-Gerrard-is-unlikely-to-play-against-Manchester-United-after-breaking-down-in-training-with-groin-injury-article711063.html

    ahh of course, no Gerrard.

I'm guessing our team will be something like:

    ----------Reina-------------

    --Johnson---Carra----Skrtel------Wilson--------

    -----------Lucas----Spearing------------------

    -------------Meireles------------------------

    Kuyt-----------Ngog-------------Suarez-----------

Can't see Caroll starting, Kenny didn't rush Suarez into anything so it will probably be the same with Caroll. No Gerrard in midfield will probably mean Spearing is thrown in there like he was in the derby. Can't see us playing with 3 centre backs again but you never know.

Both sides are looking pretty weak really. United are reliant on Nani and the strikers. We're going to be reliant on Meireles and Suarez. Can't see it being too pretty but it would be great to get a win. I'll be there but I've never been when we've beat them...

Not a bad lineup for us. Only really Agger missing.

    ...............Reina

    Johnson...Hoof.....Skrtel....Aurelio

    .........Lucas.....Gerrard
    ..............Raul
    Suarez....................Maxi
    ................Dirk

Carroll on the bench. Lucas and Gerrard will be key today. Lucas has been off form for about a month now (probably since the return of Jamie hoof).
