Don't really see why if pedro and sanchez got injured, why that necessarily means they might get injured again, but a loan for tevez are even better eto'o as the russian league is over wouldn't be too bad

Alexis will start the game on sunday, they were just be extra protective.
the injuries have indeed been crazy, its that and pep's constant rotation that hasn't allowed for any continuity in the team this season, its time for pedro to find some form, villa is a big blow but that's because of his name and just plain numbers up front, his form has been horrible, so if pedro can step up and avoid injuries with cuenca and cesc I think we will be ok,

Man I don't know David Villa managed to just look casual after that, most people would have been crying out like a bitch after that. The pain must have been excruciating.
Anyway here's to a speedy recovery
Would never wish that on anyone not even a c**t like Dani Alves.

This would actually not surprise me in the least.
Really bad news for Villa but I don't think it will affect Barcelona too much. Probably more worrying for Spain. Or maybe a blessing in disguise? Anyway initial reports are he will miss the Euros.

What about Drogba, might be his last chance to win the CL.I heard you can sign one player in January who is cup tied but is still allowed to play in the CL?

Imagine Drogba trying to contribute to short passing football in a tactically complex left-wing role
If we want a battering ram, yes, Drogba. If we want a quality player who will fit Guardiola's system and not just look for his last paycheck, then someone else.

Think you underrate Drogba's technical ability. Not sure how he would fit into Barca's system, but my God when he's playing like he did against Valencia the other day, he is an incredible force of nature, and a joy to watch.
Surely all is set for a January bid for Robin Van Persie. Please make it so. How I would cackle with glee if Barca signed him

RVP would be a failure at Barca, or Real for that matter. He's also quite old. What 28?

What about teams who park the bus in the Cl or even La Liga?Instead of having loads of midgets in the box and making Pique play as a striker Drogba would be a physical presence in the box as the midgets look for the opening.Take him on loan for 6 months I say.

Kanoute is the kind of footballing species that Pep is on a mission to destroy, uh, wipe off the planet.

28 isn't old. He's at his peak.
Why would he be a failure? Don't believe that for a second. He has everything to be a success anywhere he chooses to play.

RVP has exploded has a central striker, where he wouldn't play for us or madrid in fact
The kanoute/drogba is the type pep likes to eat up and destroy
Someone like Tevez would be good he can surely play in the position Villa does, hustles like hell and would be somewhere "closer" to Argentine, also think he would give us his all in hopes that we sign him permanently in the summer.
Eto'o would be nice too and a 3 month loan, by which time we will have back afellay, but he doesn't get along with pep
but the elephant in the room is neymar, just pay over the big bucks and get him in January.
the injury also ends the talk of villa being sold to a certain degree, don't think he or the club would have him to leave under these circumstances.

Tevez seems to make sense. He's available for cut price 20 million. Barca know they're getting a quality player. Albeit a massive c**t, but then he'll have Busquets and Mascherano to hang around with so will be in good company

Re. RVP. I don't think he'd suit in either system.
For a fast counter attacking side like Real, he takes too many touches. We also have two young, talented CFs in Higuain, Benzema.
For Barca, I don't think he's the kind of center forward they need. It'd be like Ibra all over again under Pep.

RVP is much more versatile and mobile than Ibra. I think he'd be able to adapt at either club - he's an incredibly intelligent footballer.

He would be good for a short term option but if were meant to be getting Neymar then it will be a waste of money.

So no Sanchez, no Villa upfront.
It's time for Pedro to step up, cause all the attention will be focused on Messi.
But with Pedro and Cuenca on the flanks, it really really really doesn't give me confidence at all that we will score.

I think we'll be fine for this game. The key, as always, is that the midfield does its job with good possession and fast ball circulation. Santos won't have experienced that in the Brazilian league.
But beyond this tournament, I think we really need a signing. The squad is suddenly short again, with both Villa and Afellay not back for a while, and Alexis having muscle problems every 2-3 games. The options in the B team like Jonathan Soriano, Rodri, Kiko, Delofeu, Rafinha, etc. are ok for Copa games but not guarantees for La Liga or the CL, like Villa was. A loan signing is a must.

They thought they are us and they can play the same game...
As i said some pages ago, it's all up to us to stop those MF.
